PORRIDGE DE AVENA CHOCOLATOSO 馃崼
-5 cdas de avena integral -1/2 taza de agua (aprox) -2cdtas de cacao amargo en polvo -endulzante a gusto 馃嵂 
Hay dos formas de hacerlo , aunque prefiero c贸mo queda en olla jij 
En olla: poner todos los ingredientes en una , y a fuego 馃敟medio revolver , hasta que la avena absorba toda el agua , y ya no se vea 馃き. En microondas: poner primero lo seco y revolverlo bien en una taza apta para microondas, y luego agregarle el agua (IMPORTANTE: el agua tiene que llegar a la altura de la avena , no ahoguen a la avena en agua jajajja por que se les va a subir o les va a quedar aguoso!) y poner al micro, 2 minutos aprox

Apple pie porridge oh yes! Pretty dang happy with that apple fan that鈥檚 happening! 
Definitely will say I was a tad dumb and when reaching for the cinnamon I grabbed the basil 馃尶 so a weee bit got sprinkled in but not tooo bad over all. ( covered the taste with lots of cinnamon!) -

Gingerbread Overnight Oats

1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp of mixed seeds (chia, flax or hemp鈥擨 love be seed mix from Trader Joe鈥檚)
1/2 tsp gingerbread seasoning (any seasoning mix works here鈥攋ust go with your favorite)
3/4 cup almond milk
1 banana mashed (or mash half and save some slices for topping)
Pinch of salt 
Combine all ingredients except the banana in a Tupperware container. Mix to combine and allow to set overnight in the fridge. Prior to serving, mix in mashed banana. Top as desired. I added frozen berries that I thawed plus banana, peaches and date syrup

Eating intuitively means you get to ignore all those 鈥渇ood rules鈥 you鈥檝e learned over the years and start eating what YOU want because YOU and your body want it, not because your Instagram girl crush or weight loss coach told you to.

Oats don't have to be boring. I hate when I go for brunch and the only vegan item is plain oats cooked in water. GROSS.

Here at Health My Lifestyle we're all about health (obviously) but we're all about FLAVOR too! I wouldn't choose this to be my lifestyle if it wasn't tasty.

So add that creamy soy milk (or another plant milk), add the cinnamon, chia seeds, flax meal, berries, fruit, hemp hearts, dried fruit, cacao nibs - whatever your heart desires!

The more variety the better so that you get a variety of nutrients packed with flavor.

BALSAMIC PEAR OATMEAL 馃崘馃崘馃崘 We've got an abundance of fruit that I'm working through by order of ripeness 馃榿. Today was pears. I melted some butter and roasted some sliced pear in the butter then added in some @traderjoes balsamic glaze. While I was doing that I cooked up some quick cook oats in some almond milk with a little almond extract. When the pears were done I took them out and threw some pistachios in the pan to roast them. I topped my oatmeal with the pear, roasted pistachios and a drizzle of the balsamic glaze. Delicious!

Oatmeal is my go-to weekly morning breakfast. Weekends are usually when we splurge on time to make pancakes, or are out for brunch. I love oatmeal for how fast it is (even faster if you're doing overnight oats) that it's chock full of vitamins and minerals, fiber, and protein. But my FAVE thing about it is being able to customize the flavors. It's like a blank slate! I woke up craving chocolate and cherries and this is what I came up with:
-1/2 cup @bobsredmill quick oats, made according to directions, but add in half of a mashed banana for sweetness
-a few squares of @lilys_sweets_chocolate 70% dark -frozen sweet cherries
-buckwheat groats, hemp seeds, and bee pollen
-@traderjoes almond butter

It鈥檚 embarrassing how excited I was to eat this馃槀 
I always have my oats cold, but today I tried heating them up in the microwave for 45 seconds and to be honest, they weren鈥檛 all that bad like I thought!! I don鈥檛 like my oats to be soft, so only having them in the microwave kept a bit of texture but also made them a bit warm馃構

This was delicious! I chopped one big date into tiny pieces and cooked it with the oats along with some vanilla extract. If you鈥檝e never tried putting vanilla extract or dates in your oatmeal, do yourself a favour and try it! You鈥檒l llove it. I also couldn鈥檛 wait for these flat peaches. These were super juicy and sweet! They made this already amazing oatmeal even better, along with that cashew butter (which was the last of it btw..)

For me, the oatmeal parfait is the perfect answer to any and all of the scenarios I may encounter. I have to say bravo to this chocolate and mango jelly oatmeal. Mango jelly was made with mango, pineapple and lemon juice. No sugar is needed cuz tropical fruit is so sweeeeet!

Whipped these chocolate chip baked oats  up in 10 minutes before work today and it came out amazing !! I鈥檝e never made this before and was just throwing stuff together from last recipe experiences 馃お鈦

Here鈥檚 what you鈥檒l need猬囷笍猬囷笍鈦

1/2 a banana 鈦
3 tbsp of almond milk 鈦
1/2 cup of @quaker oats 鈦
1 tbsp of nut butter of choice (PB for me) 鈦
1/2 tsp of baking powder 鈦
1/2 tsp if cinnamon鈦
Splash of vanilla 鈦
Chocolate morsels ( I sprinkled as much as I wanted so you can do as little or as much as you please ) 馃グ鈦

Place in Microwave for about 2 minutes 鈦
Make sure to put a toothpick in it to check if it鈥檚 cooked all the way through 鈦
