I do love to check this photo , totally sleep deprived , exhausted as hell and still could hit the gym , do my workout and feel satisfied for what I'm doing 💪
I guess last few weeks I workout in this mood at least twice a week , even getting enough sleep doesn't compromise the exhaustion 😅 
And if I could make a day 30 hours i would just to get more things done 🤣
And I gotta say I got the most amazing clients ever who always encourage me and I'm glad to work with them either online or on gym floor 😍
I won't settle for less as a doctor , trainer , nutritionist , instructor and above all a young woman who knows exactly how far her power can take her 😉

Did any of you tune into “Food unwrapped goes vegan” on Tuesday on @channel4 ?

There is currently a lot of focus on the merits of a vegan diet and there is no disputing the power of plant-foods on health. •
However, as I watched scientists creating synthetic meat in laboratories I couldn’t help but feel that our desire for alternative protein was less than natural. •
Animal protein provides a range of essential nutrients, and whilst we can all agree that excessive demand for meat is creating an imbalance in the food chain, we cannot forget that our bodies have evolved eating meat. Whether or not we choose to is personal choice.
•
I typically advocate quality over quantity and aim to eat a little of everything in my diet. This includes high quality, locally produced, grass-fed / corn-fed meat (organic where possible), wild fish and free-range eggs. As such I am lucky to have family who produce just this! And whilst I am visiting the UK I always make a point of dropping in to my cousins @grangefarmcrawleydown where they provide their own-reared meat, butchered on site, and sold fresh in their farm store.
•
I fill my diet with plant foods and plant proteins. These are without a doubt the foundation of healthy eating. However, meat increasingly gets a bad rap (unfairly, some might say!). Many local farmers are using sustainable methods and respecting animal welfare to provide high quality animal protein. This is a long way from the heavily industrialised methods used in mass production. The issue is the word mass... too much of anything tips the balance...and Nutrition is all about finding the optimal balance to support health.

Gluten Free Healthy Anzac Cookies // Recipe by @thenaturalnutritionist. Traditionally made with oats, butter and golden syrup, this version is made using coconut, almond meal and rice malt syrup with a touch of macadamia nuts. So easy and delicious! Throw all the ingredients together in a bowl, roll into balls and cook on a tray in the oven for 15-20 mins on 150 degrees. I doubled the recipe to make 16 cookies. 
Ingredients - Makes 8:
* 1 cup almond meal
* 1 cup desiccated coconut
*  ¼ cup almonds, chopped
*  ¼ cup macadamias, chopped
* ½ teaspoon sea salt
* ¼ cup cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil, melted
* ¼ cup rice malt syrup
* ½ teaspoon gluten free bi-carb soda
* 1 ½ tablespoons water

You can whip up a batch of these anytime, perfect excuse to make homemade cookies!

✅You do not need to be taking expensive probiotics + superfood powders, following a strict diet and cutting out a whole bunch of foods to have a healthy gut. .
✅It’s NORMAL to feel full + have a distended stomach after eating. It’s also normal to be a little bloated from time to time and pass gas multiple times a day. This doesn’t mean you are intolerant to X foods.
✅The most effective thing you can do to reduce bloating is slowing down + eating mindfully. Reducing stress, distractions, gulping down your food and eating on the go🧘🏼‍♀️

Aslında daha önceki postlarımda tarif vardı ama dün çok sorulunca tekrardan paylaşmak istedim. 🌼
💯Öncelikle aldığım sebzeleri tarım ilaçlardan arındırmak için karbonatlı suda bekletiyorum. Litre başına 2 tk karbonat ilave ediyorum ve yarım saat bekletiyorum. 💯Daha sorna sebzeleri küçük parçalara ayırarak  cam kavanozlara koyuyorum.
💯Litre başına 2 yk yaklaşık 40 gr kaya tuzunu suda iyice eritip kavanozlara dolduruyorum. Bu noktada Su seviyesine dikkat etmelisiniz. Su  sebzeleri kapatmalı ki Turşununuzda keflenme veya küflenme olmasın.⚠️ 💯1 litrelik her kavanoza  elimde ne varsa yoğurt suyu, kefir suyu veya  peynir altı suyundan 2 yk ilave ediyorum.
💯Daha sonra serin ve karanlık bir yere koyuyorum. 1 hafta sorna tüketime hazır oluyorlar. 
Hepsi bu kadar Ayrıntılarla anlatmaya çalıştım umarım gören herkes yapar ve afiyetle yer. 🤗

WoW about a years difference between these  two pictures being taken, stance is different ( granted ) BUT the results speak for themselves. 
Left. I was under eating and my training was at a plateau. I expect  intake of calories to be around 1400? That’s a guesstimate, even tho my calories were clean I Was lacking carbs ( scared of them) carbs being veggies mainly 🤦‍♀️ Fast forward a year ( right pic ) with @bodiesbyrachel @racheljdillon @emmajane.dillon everything changed for me, I was reverse dieted up to find my maintenance, then gradually over time calories were increased to put me in a ‘ sensible surplus ‘  which can increase still yet again,depending on what the girls think and how I’m responding . I’m currently on today 2000+ and eating PROPER carbs ( bread, pasta, potato) yaknoo the drill. I feel super healthy and rejuvenated tbh, drinking at least 4 ltrs  of water a day, getting great sleep 💤 
my training split has been perfect for me  and works 👍 I guess I have done around 8 challenges ( if not more I’ve lost count) I was absolutely overwhelmed and proud ( at my age, here to prove age is just a number ladies, it’s never to late to follow dreams !!) to be asked to be an ambassador for a brand that I truly love and fully endorse, I wouldn’t promote anything I don’t fully believe in and love.

A quick ‘Throwback Thursday’ to my masters project when I teamed up with the main man @nessancostello on his PhD study to investigate dietary intake assessment within academy athletes @leedsrhinos.

Feeding rugby players is no joke! Pictured is probably only about a quarter of the food we provided to the athletes. Oh, and we had to re-weigh everything that was not eaten at each meal/snack😷

Traditional assessment methods (think food diary etc.) are typically unreliable/inaccurate with under-reporting an issue.

Our solution?
Snap-N-Send ➡️Real-time reporting via images of items consumed attached with text description ➡️ supported with behaviour change framework (this is massively overlooked with traditional methods).

~ Quinoa Vegan Patties ~
These simple crispy quinoa patties are so versatile and yet high in protein & fibre too. 
A lot of you messaged me for the recipe of these Vegan Quinoa Patties. Quinoa Patties is a perfect portable meal when paired with salad or soup, even your kids would love this Vegan option made into a sandwich or burger as a snack or lunch option. I’ve used some left over Organic red & white Quinoa from @earthsfinestme
................................................................................ Ingredients:
1 cup Quinoa (I’ve used the organic red & white quinoa) 
½ cup Chopped Corriander
½ cup Carrot (grated/chopped)
1 boiled mashed potato (for binding, you can use sweet potato too)
1 tbsp ginger garlic Paste
¼ tsp Green Chili Paste/chopped green chillies (1-2)
½ tsp Black Pepper
pinch of Red chilli powder
pinch of chaat masala 
Salt (Himalayan salt)
1 Lemon Juice 
Olive oil
....................................................................................
Method:
1. Wash and drain the Quinoa.
2. In a large pan, add Quinoa, require water (approximately 2 cups), and salt. Bring to boil on medium flame and cook them for 15-20 minutes or till smooth and thick.
3. Then remove from the flame and let it them cool down.
4. Add chopped/grated carrot, boiled potatoes, little salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste/green chillies, little red chilli powder, chaat masala, chopped Corriander and lemon juice to the Quinoa.
5. Mix well and make patties form mixture.
6. Heat a non-stick pan, on a medium flame and grease it with olive oil (I’ve used the olive oil spray) Then cook the patties, till both sides are crispy and golden brown in color.
7. Now remove from the griddle and serve with dip, green mint chutney, ketchup(for the kids) or curd. •

Hey guys good afternoon..I was having musk melon like anyone else must be during this scorching summers. But do you guys know about the health benefits of this super fruit. Most of you won’t so I thought of introducing to you all to few of them:

1. Muskmelons are rich in potassium which helps in regulating the blood pressure and keeps hypertension at bay.

2. Muskmelons help regulate the blood sugar levels thereby helping control diabetes.

3. Musk melons have negligible fat content in them. They also contain the good carbohydrates derived from sugars which are easily broken down by the body. Their water content is also very high. They contain really high content of potassium which helps in losing belly fat.

4. Due to its anti-coagulant property it dissolves clots and eases muscle cramps.

5.
The high quantity of vitamin C helps in treatment and also prevention of ulcers.

Ibland är det helt magiskt hur saker och ting faller på plats🙏🏻💫. Så är det verkligen nu.
För att göra en lång historia kort fick jag för några veckor sedan en förfrågan om att utbilda mig och lansera en ”ny” träningsform i Sverige. Nirvana Breathing Fitness finns redan i stora delar av världen - väldigt stort i Asien till exempel. Efter lite efterforskning insåg jag att @nirvana.breathing.fitness verkligen kombinerar ALLT som ligger nära mitt hälso- och välmående hjärta❤️:
