The street sellers in King's Circle area carry all sorts of books. In my college days, I used to buy lots of second-hand, used books from them.
Over time, the faces changed but I was glad to see that the books were still being sold.
I was visiting my hometown Mumbai and feeling nostalgic about many places. King’s circle is one of those spots that holds nostalgic place in my mind. It’s full of lovely restaurants, coffee joins, shopping places, temples, and street vendors. So I decided to go there (the place is about 20-min walking distance from my home). My catch was ultimate.
4 power books in my hands. *Jack Ma - Alibaba the House that Jack Ma built *Robert Kiyosaki- Rich Dad Poor Dad @therealkiyosaki *Elon Musk- Tesla, SpaceX and the Quest for a fantastic future @elonrmuskk @elonmusknews *Simon Sinek- Start with Why @simonsinek
Price Rs 100-per-book (approx $1.40-per-book). Total cost to me = about $5 (I was able to successfully negotiate and bring the price down ,😎). On the 2nd thought, I shouldn’t have negotiated since what I got was already at the bargain basement price😎. But, if you’ve lived in India, one thing that you’ve to get good at is negotiations (because everyone does that). So that was my DNA sprouting up 😎. Joke apart, these books were in excellent condition.
How #cool is that?
I was so happy I decided to go on a walk.
Sometimes, when you do something out of the ordinary, you don’t know what you find or discover. What I found was something similar to treasure hunt #treasurehunt and I’ll cherish it for long tinned 😎 - 1 hour ago
