I'm feeling 100% mentally refreshed after this past week. You can kind of see the progression in my posts, I went from emotionally hitting the wall - to recovery but still hard - to wow running is hard - to ok this isn't terrible but I still feel worn out - to I'm hurting but not in a bad way. After yesterday's 13 miler and today's recovery run I'm back to feeling emotionally available and ready. And while this past week didn't go the way I wanted it to mileage wise... I'm ok with that and I think you just have to make that adjustment so you can "live to fight another day". Also... The quads can tell.
