I have an important question (or few) for you (about social media, this account, and my purpose here ) 1. Why do you use social media? 🤷🏽♀️ I first started using it because everyone else at school was. And I didn’t know how I was ‘supposed’ to use it. Soon enough I got caught up in trends, hashtags, selfies, filters, themes ... and it wasted a LOT of my time. 😑 If we didn’t have internet for a day, we’d be really bored. Maybe not everyone, but a lot of the time would feel empty A few times I started other accounts, like a photography account, a ‘spam’ account, and others. Right now I have my main account @svetlanasterlin to spread a message. This account is to raise my profile as a writer. I also have a personal (@svets_personal ) that I barely use.
2. How do you choose who to follow? Do you just follow your friends? Celebrities? Inspirational people? I now only follow accounts that add value to my day. Accounts that aren’t a waste of time for me and don’t make me feel bad about myself. I like accounts that spread awareness, creativity, beauty, positivity, and kindness 🌞
3. Why do you follow ME?
4. Would you guys follow @svetlanasterlin ? I’m thinking of combining my two accounts. My posts would relate to writing, personal, health and wellness, plant based food, etc. 🤸♂️
I don’t think of myself as someone with two identities (aka a health/plant based food lover and a writer). I would really, really appreciate your honest feedback on this because it’s what YOU will be seeing in your feed! Thanks so much for all of your support—it never goes unnoticed
