Our government established quality standards for food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics manufactured and sold in the United States, after people were injured or died from unregulated products.
There have been amendments to the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act in 1951, 1962 and 1996. These changes were geared towards regulating over the counter and prescription drugs, advertising claims of medication and, lastly, side effects of pesticides on food cultivation.
Nothing has changed about makeup and skincare. Nothing.
So, think about what’s going near your eye when you put on your mascara. What you’re inevitably “eating” when you apply your favorite mascara.
You deserve clean ingredients.
It’s 2019, after all. EVER uses only clean ingredients. Always.
