Is symmetry all that important for performance? Most sports have a degree of asymmetry. Take baseball and cricket for example – throwers in these sports have a dominant arm. Man, I've been gone from Colorado for over a week! Missed a day of legs, and some chest, back, biceps and triceps... But you know, we all need a break from our regular routine to reset your mind!

✨Let’s talk about lifting shoes! ⁣What are lifting shoes and why get them? ⁣
✨Lifting shoes have a slightly raised heel and are not “cushiony” like running shoes.  Running shoes have more support for bouncy type movements, while lifting shoes are harder and provider a more stable surface for your feet when you are squatting. The heel on the lifting shoe also positions your ankles in a way that allows better range of motion (deeper squats). There is no need to wear lifting shoes on an upper body day. ⁣

A couple months back I posted about trying to limit depth in my squat....well clearly that didn’t happen

I find that I’m more comfortable squatting to full depth, as opposed to trying to cut my depth or adopting a wider stance

It makes intuitive sense for powerlifters to only squat to competition depth (where the kneecaps are just below the hip crease). But I find I’m more comfortable squatting this way

Any thoughts from more experienced powerlifters on squatting super deep, as opposed to competition depth? Let me know!

Jeżeli trenujesz wypadałoby zadbać o ten element szczególnie jeżeli zależy Ci na zbudowaniu zdrowej i ładnej sylwetki składającej się z większości czystej masy mięśniowej.
2 dzień odpoczynku nadchodzi, a ja już nie mogę się doczekać kolejnego treningu, który wykonam.
Szkoda, że tylko 3 sesje treningowe w tygodniu. Może pora znaleźć jakieś dodatkowe zajęcie. 🤔
