I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I've spent the last 7 years battling chronic illnesses. I've gone to numerous doctors, specialists, natural practitioners and the like. I've been diagnosed with a few auto-immune conditions and chronic health conditions. And, in the end, despite all of that, no one has been able to give me the prescription to feel better.
About a year and a half ago, I decided to see if I could help myself because all the medications I was on only made me feel worse. I read a lot of about natural health cures, learned about proper nutrition and about how our body functions and why we develop auto-immunity in the first place.
Now, I am off the medications that killed my mood and energy. I am not 100% better but I am hopeful that the day will come. I know how to advocate for my health and how to fuel my body correctly. I went from barely being able to get up in the mornings, to getting through most of the day without major fatigue (evenings are still tough, but I am working on it).
As I've gone through this journey, people have asked me about what I am doing and I had been waiting to share to see how it went. Now, I am ready. I'll use this group to share practices (like intermittent fasting, morning routines) and nutrition (whole foods, arbonne, caffeine) that have helped me get to a better health and energy state in hopes that it may do the same for you, too!
