Self development work, healing and growth is non-negotiable in the entrepreneurial journey.
However, are you falling victim to the idea of constantly trying to "fix" "solve" and "heal" yourself and your wounds, and in turn, not taking much action?
My grandma used to always say, "nothing is 100%." I understand what she meant more and more everyday.
Life is a mystery that we will never solve.
We can get more clear, more aware, more in tune, but we will never "solve" life or "cure" ourselves.
We aren't even meant to.
So many entrepreneurs tell me that they are waiting until this, that or the next thing to take action.
I tell them you will never get "there." You have to decide NOW, in this present moment, that you are everything you are waiting to be. That you right now are "perfect enough" to move forward.
I gave a speech 2 weeks ago where I talked about taking action despite your insecurities.
As much as I'd like to tell people there is deep mindset work here (and trust me, there is always room for that,) a lot of my success and achievement has come from a place of not feeling whole, worthy, capable, good enough, all the things....but doing it anyways.
I decided that my desire for a better life for myself and others was greater than my insecurity. And that is the place I took action from.
I didn't solve all my problems, heal all of my wounds or fix myself.
I instead got honest about what was most important to me--and that was my mission--not being self-obsessed in my stories about why I'm not good enough.
If you stay in a place of trying to hit 100% alignment, you won't move.
Alignment, confidence, clarity, success, passion, fulfillment... Comes from action.
Nothing is 100%. So stop expecting yourself to be perfect to move forward or deserve the life you crave.
You love your parents and they aren't 100%. You love your kids and they aren't 100%. You love your partner and they aren't 100%. Can you give yourself that grace? Say, "I am trying my best," give yourself credit and move forward?
Can you receive the wisdom that humans are imperfect, they always will be, and despite that, we are still worthy of everything we want? - 2 hours ago
