445 deadlift, weighing 10 lbs heavier, a little over a year ago.
Look at how arrogant, cocky, and lazy, and sloppy I was hahaha.
A year later, I’m a completely different person and different lifter. I lift really quietly now, am calm, and focused, am thoughtful, deliberate, precise, and more serious. I’m more careful about my form and much more focused on being effective with technique and with each rep.
I’m not necessarily better as a person than I was last year, perhaps just different. But it’s interesting to see how I’ve changed in the last year.
And I hope that I’m different the year after this one too. Maybe even better in some sort of way too, we’ll see 🙃 - 21 days ago
