For Day 4 of #itsaloaboutthebalance . As I am a beginner, so it's my first time to do this CROW POSE. Still need to enhance wrist, arm and shoulder strength. Need to practice. I love the calmness that it gives while you're balancing, more so, when you're actually balanced and floating😊.

Day 9: Eagle/ How do you keep balance in your life?⁣ ...I don’t. 😅 I feel like my life is a hot mess filled with too much stuff to keep track of and I’m a big ‘ole ball of stress because of it. I keep a calendar and try to balance my work life with being a great, involved mom and keeping active and healthy but my life feels far from balanced. I’m still figuring out how to focus my energies...slowly but surely, I’m beginning to figure out what’s most important in my life...but I probably need to meditate on it more. 🧘🏼‍♀️ .

Day 8: Cow Face/ Name some ways you practice self-care⁣

I speak to myself kindly...believe me, I can wallow in self-pity just as good as the next person, but I know that self-pity doesn’t get you anywhere, so, slowly but surely, I begin to tell myself nice things when the going gets tough. Feelings and emotions don’t last forever. Life is fleeting. .
.
I also practice self care by saying no, making time for my yoga practice and taking epsom salt baths. Oh and I’ve been known to indulge in chocolate from time to time. 😝🍫...next on my self care list, is to start sleeping more! .

These past few days were very stressful. My focus shifted on the issues (and negative emotions) and forgot to see those issues as  opportunities for growth. I was reminded by @kellypenderyoga to get past my fear and own my power. I was able to adjust my aperture and brought myself again into focusing on things that REALLY matter.

My sister arrived yesterday, and I was so excited, I forgot to post my final pose. So here it is a day late, as we were enjoying the beauty of Maui. 
So with that, I guess my encouragement in this moment would be to get lost. Get lost in something that excites you, enjoy the flow of life, and don’t get caught up in the stress of what you think you have to do! ~
