Snack: my go to green smoothie
Lunch: @traderjoes cauli gnocchi with broccoli and @bilinskisausage and an apple (and probably a piece of @lilys_sweets_chocolate because everything is better with chocolate)
Snack: snack box with 2 hard boiled egg whites, lunch meat and baby carrots

This is not all that I eat in a day! This is just what I’ve prepped to make it easier for me and to take the guess work out of meals for work. I’ll cook dinners this week based on what we have already. My favorite!

And it’s a short week for me !
Headed to Indy Friday ( get ready @tiutrendybn & @depue2011 ) 
This week I roasted a had full of veggies, green beans, mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower. Paired some bowls with chicken, black beans, and cilantro lime rice ( it’s in the bowl under all the veggies 🤣) and the other with @eatbanza rice ( again I promise it’s in the bowl ) and sausage.
Didn’t forget my Meta D shots for the week too, I chose to add in a little Turmeric to them this week .

You can guarantee that everyday Sunday afternoon you’ll find me in the kitchen prepping food for the week🍴 The next few weeks are looking a little hectic with assignments and then exams coming up😬 so I really did not have time to be cooking anything complicated this week! But it honestly doesn’t have to be complicated at all🙌🏼 I whipped up these meals in about an hour using frozen veg and the air frier😍 Each container has:
Frozen peas and corn 🌽🌽
Edamame
Mix of lentils, butter beans, chickpeas and kidney beans (all the fibre😋)
Cherry tomatoes🍅
Air-fried pumpkin, sweet potato and carrot🥕🍠
3 x mini veggie patties from @bitemefinefoods 
Bean sprouts (added after the photo)

One of the top ways to make sure that you’re preventing weight gain and also maximizing nutrient intake is to not drink your calories! This include calories from sugar OR fat 😉

Water 💦 always gets a green light because even mild dehydration (1-3% of body weight) can affect brain function plus trigger headaches and migraines in some individuals. I always start my day with a glass of water (I even put some salt in it) since its not uncommon to wake up slightly dehydrated. .
If drinking enough water is not a habit for you yet, try setting reminders on your phone to drink every 2 hours or keep a full bottle at your desk!

Other high quality drinks to add to repertoire are 100% whey protein shakes (feel free to add your own fruit at home since it includes fiber), lower-sugar kombuchas, teas, coffee and 100% vegetable juices!

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 cup of granted garlic
100g of Spinach
14 oz of blended fresh tomatoes
4 habenaro pepper
500g of beef sausage
500g of chicken breast
1 pack of cooked penne 
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1 cup of granted parmesan cheese
Salt and seasoning for taste

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat olive oil cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic to the pan, cook until the onions become soft and translucent. 
2. Add chopped chicken breast and beef sausage to the pan and cook.
3. Once the meat has cooked, pour blended fresh tomatoes and pepper mixture, seasoning for taste. 
4. Add the cream cheese and granted parmesan to the pan and stir
5. Add cooked penne and spinach to the pan and stir to allow the spinach steam

First off, what is a “smoke point”? The smoke point is the temperature at which an oil starts to undergo what’s called “lipidperoxidation” and becomes rancid. That’s why it’s important to pay attention to an oil’s smoke point when cooking or baking. It is also a common misconception that you can’t sauté with olive oil. You definitely can but it would be best to use it at low to medium heats.⁣

The return of #mealprepday!
I only took pics of the "exciting" food. Everything else is pretty basic...even the grilled chicken was basic, but I had already taken the pic LOL
I'm done with egg cups, casseroles are so much easier. Yes egg cups are great for portion control, but I hate cleaning all the compartments. Casseroles it is!

Easy seared salmon with Greek salad topping, romaine & steamed green beans. These flavors make an otherwise plain protein stand out, but still keep it healthy. It’s keto unintentionally, yay 🙌🏼 .

How to make: Season salmon with your favorite Greek seasoning (I use Cavender’s), add 1/2 tbsp each butter/olive oil to a skillet over medium heat and sear 2-3 minutes per side while chopping 1/4 cup each: cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, feta (Find valbreso feta it’s creamy and amazing). You can toss all that in olive oil and a little red wine vinegar, then add 1tbsp freshly chopped dill. Spoon it over your salmon once you plate it. Done 💯 .

One of my favourite habits we’ve incorporated into our weekly routine is filling in our weekly meal planner and goal setting chart. 
Over the Sunday morning cuppa 
we chat about the week ahead, share our schedules, plan our meals and spend time thinking about our goals for personal growth and how we can improve as a family unit. 
Life seems far less chaotic since we’ve embraced this simple exercise. 
We are more connected and hopefully we can help each other stay accountable to our higher values and ambitions.
