no these healthy breakfasts were taken on four consecutive days.
observe how i refined my diet day by day as i prepare my body for the upcoming london marathon on sunday
1. saturday morning: ham, cheese and onion omelette topped with a piece of chorizo and two slices of peppered salt beef.
i thought it best to grab three hash browns to help the meat down, alas when i cut into one of them i discovered they were not hash browns but were spam fritters.
all in all a somewhat meaty breakfast for a member of the vegan runners club
2. sunday morning: a ham, cheese and onion omelette accompanied by baked beans, two rashers of bacon, two slices of spicy cheese, a chicken leg and what i imagined would be three hash browns.
once again i was fooled by the chef and they were not hash browns but were little fried cheese things in breadcrumbs
3. monday morning: a ham, cheese and onion omelette, baked beans, two rashers of bacon and a slice of spicy cheese on what i thought was a piece of brown bread.
alas it tasted more like a piece of wood than bread but i ate it anyway as i had begun carb loading as any top athlete would on the lead up to the marathon
4. tuesday morning: a ham, cheese and onion omelette, baked beans, a bread roll and a round thing i took a punt on, hoping it was some sort of german hash brown but it turned out to be one of those things you put in your shoes to stop them smelling
