Yesterday we started our day by having breakfast at @frankieandbennys at the @londondesigneroutlet
1) Veggie Fry up
Value for Money: 10/10
It consisted of two fried eggs, mushrooms, tomato, baked beans, hash browns, smashed avocado and brown toast. While we loved the variety, the portions for each component was rather small. The eggs for example were smaller sized and the avocado too was in small quantity. Not the most amazing breakfast we’ve had, nor was it filling but we did enjoy the combination of different foods.
2) Traditional Fry up
Value for Money: 7/10
It consisted of a sausage, two rashers of bacon, two small fried eggs, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and crispy herb potatoes. While the potatoes were in abundance, everything else was served in smaller portions.
Value for money: 4/10
These were basic pancake halves served with maple syrup. We found them rather soggy. We were expecting some fruits or atleast a selection of syrup/spread to choose from which was not the case.
Overall we loved the variety of food offered in each breakfast plate. However the portion size and the quality was basic. Considering we managed to get a 25% off as we’re members of the gourmet society, we weren’t too fussed about it. However for full price, we would recommend you find a proper English cafe for breakfast instead.
