Yesterday, I sat at a table in the teacher's lounge eating my lunch, listening to the conversation around me. At one point, the woman sitting next to me condemingly referred to a people group as "the type of Christians who would watch Game of Thrones." It broke my heart.
So, I'm coming out, y'all I am the type of Christian who watches GoT.
I am the type of Christian who stays out all night social dancing, and wants to take up pole dance classes.
I am the type of Christian who drinks - wine, coffee, beer, hard alcohol…. Pretty much anything ;) I am the type of Christian who will sit at a mosque and smoke a hookah pipe, and love every second of it.
I am the type of Christian who believes that I can learn something from all people, races, religions, and sexual preferences.
I am the type of Christian who deeply loves and wants to be with all the people in my life - be they young, old, straight, lgtbq, atheist, Christian, Muslim, wiccan… (or GoT addicts)
I am not saying that I'm right or I'm wrong, this is just who I am. And, you know what? I'm not unusual, and I'm not alone. More than that, God loves me- completely, absolutely, and more faithfully than I could ever love Him in return. No matter who I am or what I do. And He loves you just as much. Whatever you are, whoever you are, whatever you do or don't do, He loves you. Period. End of story. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. - 5 hours ago
