The remains of an Unidentified woman were found by contractors working under the first floor of a three-story red brick apartment building in Congress Heights. A crew enlarging a crawl space and digging up a basement in the 100 block of Wayne Place SE to build additional apartments found what appeared to be the bones of a hand, skull and jawbone about 10 inches beneath the surface.
Shortly after the discovery, the remains of two more unidentified females were found about 30 yards behind the residence. The cause of death for the first two victims was determined to be death by shooting the third victims cause of death has simply been reported as “other”. Medical examiners say based on decomposition, the women have been dead at least a year. They are reassembling the remains to get more information on their deaths, and hope to find out the identity of the victims by using ancestry databases. #unsolved #homicide #onthisday #history #unidentified #murder #slaying #killer - 56 minutes ago
