There's no denying it, this winter in Australia has been brutal, sadly last week influenza claimed the life of a 10 year old boy here in Perth. Flu jab conversation seem to be popping up everywhere, in fact I get a SMS message weekly about it, the last message I got from my local pharmacy included a fear mungering count of recent deaths. We're forgetting that our bodies are living things, that require support during times where bugs are brutal and unavoidable, our immune systems need a boost more than ever, and unfortunately despite what any doctor or nurse will tell you, flu jabs do in fact bring down an immune system and come with silent side effects. 🏼⚕️🏽⚕️🌡🧪 There are of course situations where these life saving jabs are important. If your child already has a suppressed immune system, has been on frequent doses of antibiotics or penecilin, has a poor diet, seeminly always sick 🤒 , congested 🤧or coughing, or has suspected food allergies or intollerances then a flu jab this winter may just save a life.
