As much as it bums me out, I need a rest day.
Jumping into something like Muay Thai after not exercising consistently for close to two months - it’s given my body quite the shock. I’m more sore this morning than maybe I’ve ever been after a workout? Which makes me sad because I used to be in such good shape. I could wake up, so an hour of weight lifting and then run nine miles and be But, life happens, and we endure.
I’ll spend today stretching and icing this old-ass-banana-looking shin, and get back to it tomorrow morning.
