This is how I am feeling today.... got through our team meeting today at work where there was nothing but carbs I had 2 eggs and sausage.... did not pack anything for lunch or snack.... so I guess I will skip lunch. I am staying so good! Not cheating but still stalled?! At 3 weeks down almost. wondering if my inflammation has anything to do with it? Any keto dieters out there with chronic illness? Healthy food in the kitchen = Healthy food on your plate! 🍽

The easiest way to ensure nourishment? Stock the kitchen with the good stuff, and don’t bring home the highly processed stuff! If your pantry is full of packaged foods, little by little just stop buying it and transform your health! 🥦

Sounds simple because it is! We’re all bioindividuals, certain foods will jive better with others, but the foundations of #cleaneating are a great place to start. 🥑

Just say no: factory meat, processed corn, soy, refined wheat and grains, “vegetable” oils (corn, canola, peanut, cottonseed, soy, sunflower, safflower), added sugars (including non-caloric sweeteners), preservatives, additives, food colorings, anything that doesn’t look like real food, or with a long list of ingredients you can’t pronounce. Just because it’s sold in a grocery store doesn’t mean it’s actually food that our cells can assimilate or even identify as food. 🐟

Just say YES: wild seafood, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, raw dairy & aged cheeses (if tolerated), animal fats, coconut, avocado, olive, grass-fed butter & ghee, organic herbs and vegetables, sprouted seeds & nuts, fermented foods, wild berries & seasonal fruits, small amounts of properly prepared legumes, sea salt, herbal teas, coffee, bone broth, organ meats, vinegars, & spices!!!! 👩‍🍳 It doesn’t always have to be a glorious feast. Meals like this just take a few minutes! Occasional exposure to foods in the “not so great” list when you eat out will be much less detrimental when it’s not chronic exposure! 🍒

For some, a more strict elimination diet helps them heal from autoimmune, digestive, or other nagging health issues. 🍳

Eating NOURISHING food & leaving out the inflammatory stuff allows: Gut lining repair, Immune system reset, Reduced inflammation, Metabolic health, Energy, sleep, better digestion, hormonal balance, clearer skin, reduced depression & anxiety, slowed aging, less allergies, etc! 💜

Before start this journey I was fasting for 15 hours ⏰. I did this just to have better digestion and lower blood sugar and insulin levels (I'll be explaining better intermittent fasting in another post). Now my keto breakfast: - 3 whole eggs - 2 sausage - 30 gr mushroom - 16 gr butter
- 2 scoops of heavy cream - Coffee 
Total net carbs: 8,6 gr

I'm tracking my meals with My fitness pal app (free version), it's amazing if you want to count your macros and calories!

Simple cheese bun and sausage sandwich. 
Yesterday I went out with a friend for drinks. I’m not a drinker, period, but I like to be social so I went and ordered a diet soda. We ordered food and it was so hard to stay Keto but I did! We were at Applebee’s so I ordered the riblets no sauce and broccoli. I think they still add seasoning that may have carbs but when I checked the site it was 12 carbs and that fit into my 20 carbs perfectly. Also, I’m trying not to take pics and be on my phone when I am hanging with people, just enjoy them.
