I know i have a series going on, but this post is more important than that. Today I saw many posts in my feed that highlighted climate emergency and the endgame we all are entering into.
Okay, to all the people reading this, when was the last time you took a full glass of water to drink and threw away half of it just because you were full? This happens many a times right? But, we have to change this. Take only that much water that you need. If you feel the need to drink more, then take again. I know these methods were taught to us when we were in school, but it's high time we used them. I have a few of them in the slides, here are some more:
If you live in cities like Delhi, trust me, most of the places are covered by metro, so use the metro as much as you can.
If you use RO, so connect the out pipe of the RO to your washing machine, an RO rejects a lot of water which is not waste, so it can be used for water in your washing machine.
Switch off appliances once you use them, it saves electricity.
Do throw garbage in the proper dustbin, food waste should always go in the green dustbin and not the blue one.
We are 1.35 billion people, like we pray for India to win the world cup, even if all of follow atleast one step given here, it will make a huge difference. If you have read Class 12th biology NCERT, there is a line in a chapter named biodiversity and conservation " By the time you finish reading this chapter, many hectares of trees in Amazon would have been cut down for soyabean plantation "
Which is actually true. All of this so called development is actually destruction disguised as development. The nature's library is burning even before we catalogue all the books stored there. I would request all the ICT and other FCs as well to share this post, because we have a lot of followers and in addition to following these steps, we can spread it through our followers to the world. Even if you are doing a series, do take out time for posting such awareness things. It's an emergency, its an endgame for all of us. Time is very less, but it is still there.
