It's a wrap for this year #indonesiacoffeeevent ! It was fun to meet with fellow coffee people again, as judges, competitors, committees, volunteers, and even audiences.
I had the chance to be the head judge for latte art competition, which is a new experience for me to judge 12 competitors back to back without any break at all for two days in a row . Some might think that latte art judging is easier and sometimes sad because we don't get the chance to taste any coffees, just looking at the art produced compare to brewers cup, which we get the chance to taste the coffee and experience the service provided at the same time. Well, let me just say that even though it seems easy, the chances for people to pass the latte art judge certification is only a little. Plus for us to look at the art for only a few minutes, take notes, and be able to look at the details are not easy at all. It was a challenge that not all people could handle
I'm happy to see that there's a progress in terms of competitor's quality, especially for the latte art's. I can't wait to see what's in store for us in the next event. See you guys very soon! 🏻 : @lensarinaldi @mirayudha
