Toys and Minimalism
I've been on a personal journey of purging and letting go of attachments to 'things'. (This also includes not buying anything purely because I like it) A lot of factors contributed to this. Some spiritual and some minimalist. While it's been tough, it made me realize how much easier this path would have been if this was taught to me as a child. To dwell less on things/myself and more on life experiences. And it's got me thinking about how I can pass this on to Siddu. This also happens to be a core concept in Montessori. Less is definitely more when it comes to toys.
So Mama's and Daddy's, I ask you. How do you handle your child's constant wants and cravings for new toys?
