本日は大胸筋上部を鍛える種目を紹介します💪
☆インクラインスミスプレスやり方☆
① 30~45度のインクラインベンチに仰向けになる。
② 肩甲骨をしっかり内側に寄せ、さらに下に下げる。
③ 胸を張り、しっかりとアーチをつくる。
④ 通常のベンチプレスよりも、やや狭いグリップでバーを握る。
⑤ ヒジは張り過ぎず、大胸筋の中部を目掛けてバーを下ろしていく。目安として、大胸筋から5cmほどのところまで下ろすようにする。 ☆ポイント☆

上部大胸筋に刺激を与えるためには、肩関節「屈曲」すなわち腕を前方に挙げる動きが必要です❗️
そのためにはボトムポジションにおいて、ひじを閉じ気味にしたフォームにしなくてはいけません❗️
ひじを張ったフォームだと「水平内転」となるため、三角筋前部への効きのほうが強くなってしまうので気をつけましょう💪

FAKE OR REAL? Who knows anything anymore 😱 great day training @bigtexgym . Was trying to get some warm ups in . 155 on the #duffalobar for 30 reps in 15 seconds.... #goals . Reality set in once these bad boys were placed on my legs. HEAVY!!! @carolinabarbellgym got some 160 dumbbells so of course i had to see what i could hit with them on some incline. I’ll be repping these big boys for 10 before you know it. Damn i love this gym. If you are in the Aberdeen, NC area and you haven’t checked this gym out, you are missing out on a lot. One way to get a fuller chest is to work the upper part of the body. Check out this video of how to do an incline bench press in the gym using the hammer grip format. Rotation is used to squeeze the upper chest. Remember that this should be a controlled and slow movement.

I'm not sure when "Finisher" became a thing. I am sure this exercise, performed last in push day, is Fucking awesome.

What I like about these: 1) instability created by lowering the center of gravity is awesome 2) the path of the plates will crush my head if traditional lock out occurs, so constant tension is maintained 3) incredible stretch range of motion 4) repetition pace must be controlled or the resistance begins to flail about 5) these are NOT for beginners. Go do squats on a bosu ball, instead.

There are lots of ways to shock your muscles into more action. 
You can increase the weight, you can increase the reps but you can also increase the amount of Time Under Tension. .

That's what we've done here by holding the weight at the bottom for a few seconds before raising it you work the muscles just as hard as if you had increased the weight.

I'm supposed to be holding it for 2 seconds at the bottom but it's very easy to forget that when your muscles are getting tired. Thanks @holmania for reminding me, and for the excellent panning video 😅

I really like these high incline dumbbell presses. I’m starting to realize that my anatomy needs a higher incline angle to get my upper pec fibers than the traditional 45 degree angle. This bench is about 60 degrees.

I haven’t gone heavier than 100 lb dumbbells for the past 4 weeks since doing a show. Really focusing hardcore on squeezing and stretching my pecs in a perfect pressing position. I will grow this chest! Consistent progress.

Chest and triceps : The Basics. 
There are A LOT of different exercises, rep schemes and splits for chest and triceps day. 
That being said, my recommendation is to put in the foundational work and time into these basic exercises before getting complicated and fancy!

Whether you are first starting 
out a lifting routine, or have been lifting for some time, but never got solid on these.

WARM UP before every weight lifting session, both full body AND the muscle group you are training.  If you have questions on warmups DM me!

However many reps you hit, and however heavy you choose to go, make sure that the last 2-3 reps of each working set are REALLY DIFFICULT.  Your set doesn’t end until you know that 1 more rep is actually impossible.

Perhaps the most challenging variation of a chest press exercise and instantly highlights any discrepancies in balance and strength you may have.

1. Begin by raising both dumbbells as you would for a normal press in their starting position.
2. Begin to lower only one dumbbell and keep your other arm locked straight.

Vandaag #training #borstspieren + #triceps. Lang niet alles gefilmd, maar toch weer een leuke compilatie met enkele seconden impressie van diverse oefeningen. Begonnen met 10 minuten fietsen en 25 minuten crosstrainer. Daarna blauwe zaal. T.a.v. de #frozenshoulder merk ik wel steeds kleine beetjes progressie. Bij de #hammerstrength #inclinepress kon ik enkele weken geleden amper 5kg duwen, vanwege teveel pijn linkerschouder / linkerarm. Inmiddels lukt het weer om 15kg te duwen (aan weerskanten). Linkerarm nog wel gevoelig / klein beetje pijnlijk als ik mijn arm in een bepaalde stand zet, maar stuk minder dan enkele weken terug. Bij de #smithmachine ben ik begonnen met 2 losse 5kg schijven, omdat ik dan eerst de situatie wil aftasten omtrent het linkerschouder gebied, maar dat was duidelijk te licht en geen last van het activeren van pijn, dus toen stapje hoger gegaan naar 2 x 10kg schijven. Ging ook prima. Toen bij die 2 x 10kg nog weer de 2 x 5kg toegevoegd (dus aan weerskanten 15kg). Ging op zich ook wel, maar wel met minder herhalingen en toch ietsje trekken weer bij linkerschouder, dus volgende keer nog maar weer ff een stapje terug voor de zekerheid ivm schouderherstel. De laatste #chestpress oefening op de video aan weerskanten 10kg. Dat was op dit moment her maximale t.a.v. linkerschouder. Was nu al op het randje, dus verder even niet forceren. Vandaag #training #borstspieren + #triceps . Lang niet alles gefilmd, maar toch weer een leuke compilatie met enkele seconden impressie van diverse oefeningen. Begonnen met 10 minuten fietsen en 25 minuten crosstrainer. Daarna blauwe zaal. T.a.v. de #frozenshoulder merk ik wel steeds kleine beetjes progressie. Bij de #hammerstrength #inclinepress kon ik enkele weken geleden amper 5kg duwen, vanwege teveel pijn linkerschouder / linkerarm. Inmiddels lukt het weer om 15kg te duwen (aan weerskanten). Linkerarm nog wel gevoelig / klein beetje pijnlijk als ik mijn arm in een bepaalde stand zet, maar stuk minder dan enkele weken terug. Bij de #smithmachine ben ik begonnen met 2 losse 5kg schijven, omdat ik dan eerst de situatie wil aftasten omtrent het linkerschouder gebied, maar dat was duidelijk te licht en geen last van het activeren van pijn, dus toen stapje hoger gegaan naar 2 x 10kg schijven. Ging ook prima. Toen bij die 2 x 10kg nog weer de 2 x 5kg toegevoegd (dus aan weerskanten 15kg). Ging op zich ook wel, maar wel met minder herhalingen en toch ietsje trekken weer bij linkerschouder, dus volgende keer nog maar weer ff een stapje terug voor de zekerheid ivm schouderherstel. De laatste #chestpress oefening op de video aan weerskanten 10kg. Dat was op dit moment her maximale t.a.v. linkerschouder. Was nu al op het randje, dus verder even niet forceren. High incline press with a pair 42.5kgs.. @8.. For 7 reps.. Tris were busted after 6 sets of bench press. This is a good accessory to OHPs and bench press. You can also the barbell version.. 60-70 degree incline.

I got some #axlepress work with chains tonight. Nothing too heavy, just trying to work on stability through the reps. Also used the #axlebar for #inclinepress and the size and lack of flexibility in the bar presented a bit of a challenge. I also got the pleasant surprise of working with @walking_cadaver333  a little bit! Swipe to see a killer chest superset I did. This was heavy dumbbell incline press superset with barbell incline press. -

Anytime you add stability, you’ll be able to lift more weight (unless you’ve trained specifically otherwise). This is why we’re starting with the less stable dumbbell lift and finishing off with the barbell press (which adds more stability) to burn out. -

Always happy when training chest! 😤 Don't look too happy in the last one, but that only means we're working hard! 😂 Incline dumbbell bench press - 22kg, 10 reps, 4 sets.

I'm currently on a Push (Chest, Tricep & Shoulders), Pull (Back & Biceps), Legs spilt. I've 'designed' (thrown a bunch of exercises together, as one does 😂) the program myself, focusing on strength training with lower rep ranges, higher weight, as well as some added hypertrophy training, higher rep ranges of about 12, in the mix. I've on the spilt since the beginning of 2019 and plan to change it up, as one should, in June.
