OK here it goes..it's #transformationtuesday time... Can't believe that was me 8 years ago 😱😲
I struggled a lot with my weight when i moved to the US in 2004.. In matter of 6 months i gained about 20-25lbs.. When I saw my family for Christmas they didn't hesitate to let me know i was a little overweight.. January 2005 i started working out, which at the moment meant cardio for me...never touched anything heavier than a 5 lb dumbbell. I was self conscious amd had no self-esteem whatsoever. For a while a tried non fat diets, non carb diets, the south beach diet, the dont eat after 6pm diet... Nothing was working... I started enjoying some group classes which helped a little, but still no major changes in my body.. And that's where i was in 2007... ➡Fast forward to 2013 when i first started seriously lifting and all the magic happened... Started seeing changes and wanted to learn more about fitness. @amandalatona was my first #fitnessIdol ! I've dobe probably every workout she has ever post! And last year, i stumbled upon an IG post of my wonderful coach @ingridromero1 and started following @teamedge1
Best decision ever! This is me in 2015, two NPC showd, both in top 5. Confident, loving my body (most days anyways😜) and looking forward to keep growing and improving as an athlete. I've learned so much in these few years and cannot wait to learn more. Now, just taking one day at the time and trying to figure out what to do next.
