I survived! It's almost dinner time and I've survived the children! Huzzah! .
Wish I could keep one of these pretties as a reward. But given that business operates on the premise I SELL plants, not keep them, I should probably save theses for you ;) .
Speaking of selling, though, let's talk about Bunnings for a tic. .
Did you know that Bunnings was one of my first employers?? I was a check-out chick, and met my first husband there. I love Bunnings! LOVE it. As a consumer. But as a small business. Well... .
I heard the other week that they've started stocking the Thai Constellations in some of their stores. I sell them for 350, they have them for 295. I'm not ripping you off, and I'm not being greedy or lining my pockets. .
I bought my stock from Verdant Dwellings, a fellow small business with a reputation for healthy stock, and second-to-none advice. In my humble opinion, their plants are far superior to those you'll find at Bunnings. They were imported into the country long before the Bunnings ones were, and as a result are larger, more established, and have fantastic root structures. .
If you buy these Thais from me, you're guaranteed a couple of things: one-on-one service; sound advice and ongoing support for this plant AND any plant from ANYONE else; your plant has been loved and fussed over as though one of my own personal collection. Your plant didn't spend hours (or days) in a cold truck moving from the grower to the a green warehouse. Your plant hasn't been too cold, over-watered, manhandled, or knocked about. Hell, your plant had a seatbelt on it in my car when I collected it! lol. .
Buying from me gives you access to Afterpay (which charges me 6% of your total purchase, by the way), and knowledge that you're helping my business keep going. .
You're not going to find my Thais mistreated and marked down in the hope that someone who doesn't know better buys it. Nope! If these don't sell, they'll stay with me and grow happily for the rest of their days. .
I'm late to trends, I always have been. But despite bringing these babies home the same day Bunnings was discovered to have them, I don't regret a thing bc I bough them for you <3 - 1 hour ago
