Are you wondering what's on my plate lately?
Or is this case, my bowl.....I really love bowls (and my chipped Japanese pottery mug), and choose them over plates whenever possible.
Currently, I'm still really digging Sarah Ballentyne's @thepaleomom Green Eggs recipe, and have it for breakfast or lunch multiple times a week. It's so quick, easy and delicious!!! I like to jazz it up with some salsa, sea salt and black pepper and whatever ground seeds I'm currently rotating through for my seed cycling. (Check out Dr. Brighten @drjolenebrighten to learn more about seed cycling!!) I've also been experimenting with some different lower-carb-higher-veggie-content smoothie recipes for our smoothie of the month @townefitness
This one is strawberry-cucumber. Yummy.
Soups made using a base of homemade long, slow simmered bone broth made from @landmangardens whole chicken bones are super nourishing and comforting at this time of year.
When I want something crunchy, I love veggies with a good dip, like this jazzed up homemade mayo made with fresh eggs and olive oil, or if you don't have time to make it @primalkitchenfoods has some amazing flavours!! And lastly coffee with frothy coconut milk (I love Julie Daniluk's @juliedaniluk homemade coconut milk recipe that uses canned coconut milk, sea salt and vanilla. MMM MMM.
I go through cycles where I substitute with decaf or non-caffeinated coffee alternatives, and am doing that right now through the week, but am enjoying regular coffee on the weekend. This is to give my adrenals a break and support my own health issues that I'm working through.
Making nutritious meals can be super fast & easy when you plan ahead and make sure your kitchen is stocked with nutritious food that you actually like!! #breakfastideas #breakfastofchampions #snackideas #simpleeasyhealthyfood #idolovecoffee #simplesnacks #easynutrition #foodthathealsyou #foodthatheartsyou #healthyfood #paleolifestyle #realfoodwins #sundaymorningcoffeetalk - 3 months ago
