This morning I made pea, spinach and sweet potato soup which turned out well. We then went to rhyme time and the park with Charlotte and the boys. Macie was such a pickle this morning, she wouldn’t stop moaning, and while we were out she went into full on meltdown mode... after a couple of feeds and a sleep she was a little angel this afternoon. I had an accident this afternoon, I realised the Easter eggs are half price in Tesco... so I brought one or two 😬. After lunch I realised I needed more, so went back and got another couple . I think we now have enough chocolate to last us a year... possibly two 😎. -
Breakfast today was a higates flapjack and an arla protein pouch.
Lunch was another French toast hot cross bun stack, this one was the best by a long shot. It was the cranberry and orange hot cross buns with chocolate orange almond spread which is amazing, and an orange.
Dinner was cauliflower ziti which is just mince in passata, mushrooms and cauliflower, layers of ricotta and quark, topped with loads of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. I served this with a jacket potato and spinach.
For dessert I had half of the banoffee Easter egg I picked up earlier. This was really nice, the chocolate was really smooth, there wasn’t really much banoffee flavour, just literally the front bit, but still a good egg.
Before bed, I had a machine hot chocolate, a Freddo biscuit, and a couple of blackjacks. -
