One of the major concerns of many Christians is that they always want to know what their calling is, or they want to know if where they are and what they are doing, is where and what God has called them to be.
I believe the answer is simple but profound. In Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus clearly answers this question: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:13-16 NIV So the answer is clear. If you have received a prophetic upon your life, or if you’re wondering how to fulfil your calling, or if you want to know where you are and what you’re doing is aligned with the prophetic you have received and with your calling, test yourself and your position with these three verses.
In other words, it doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing. Because as long as it is bringing light to people’s darkness and as long as it is disinfecting the infection of the world and the pollution of its inhabitants; as long as you are bringing the flavour of heaven, you are on the right track and you will fulfil your calling and reach your destiny.
Because the call of God always aligns with the will of God; and the will of God aligns with the heart of God; and the heart of God always aligns with the word of God. ———————————————————————— #god #thelord #jesus #jesuschrist #christ #christianity #bible #gospel #bibleverse #holy #holyspirit #oldtestament #forgiveness #salvation #love #faith #hope #glory #cross #way #truth #life #heaven #position #heart - 60 minutes ago
