🥕What is holistic nutrition?
A. Holistic nutrition is about eating whole, natural, real ingredients: grains, legumes, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, minimizing animal-based products and avoiding industrialized products.
B. It is about trying to eat locally, in season and eating the ‘rainbow’ to ensure we get all the nutrients, vitamins & minerals our bodies need.
C. It is about helping you prevent diseases (type 2 diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, cancers, etc.) or imbalance in your physical, mental, spiritual health; rather than reacting to the imbalance or health issues once it has already arised and is too late.
D. It is about uncovering & understanding the underlying root cause of your symptoms, rather than masking them with pills/pharmaceuticals (like most Westernized cultures)
E. It is a lifestyle, not a diet. It is not about deprivation or frustration. It is about learning a new way of living.

⚖️ The foods we eat can leave us in or out of balance.
So please, take good care of what you put into your body. It is your home, don’t treat it like a garbage disposal, don’t abuse it, don’t take it for granted.
