🇭🇰 Hello world, so I’m back again with another food post! Don’t you worry though, I have NOT forgotten about Hong Kong and I assure you I’ll still be posting updates on my story. Nevertheless, I’ve decided to resume these posts because I know the whole thing is going to be a long and slow process - which does NOT mean that anyone is giving up!! SO, without further ado...presenting to you the grass jelly milk tea that I had at Big Wave Bay Beach (gorgeous place except it’s currently under construction?? And there’s E. coli in the water?!! Idek it was weird)! This has got to be my new fave milk tea combo, EVEN better than with tapioca pearls! I also ordered the French toast which they TOTALLY lied to me about - they dissuaded me from getting the other peanut butter sandwich because they said THIS would have peanut butter in it, but it DIDN’T and they refused to give me some afterwards!! to be fair though if I had known beforehand and expected it like that, this French toast would have been pretty great because of how freshly made it was. It was PIPING hot. We also ordered a skewer of siu Mai and that was DELISH! You’d be surprised how much bad siu mai I’ve been having recently, this was a lovely relief. Overall, pretty pricey but it was to be expected due to the location and there wasn’t much choice there anyway! Would DEFO come back for the grass jelly milk tea and siu mai!
PRICE: grass jelly milk tea - $28, french toast - $30, siu mai - $10
