Lets talk intensity. Personally, whenever I workout I always have a certain intensity that I bring to my workouts. I feel like when you set the tone right - meaning your focus... then the level of intensity increases then your workouts end up benefiting you in the end. -
The more intense you become the more focused you’ll be. For example if you’re running and you have a high intensity for running, most likely you’ll run harder then the person who is running without focus or intent. Become intense. 😈💪🏼

These are three pretty basic movements that are very beginner friendly. However, Jaidan and I had still had a really hard time getting through this workout! High intensity interval training is my favorite form of cardio, and personally I feel it’s the best way I can get a good sweat sesh in. Enjoy 💙

HIIT TRI-SET ~For every movement do 30 second work & 30 second rest - repeat entire tri-set 3x~ .

Today was a crazy workout day! I hit legs in the morning where I was able to squat 245lbs!! Woot woot! That’s my new personal best. 🎉🎉🎉 Then I hit the Duke Wall for a walk. After that, I did a 45min HIIT class. To say my legs are beat would be an understatement. Now, it’s time to roll it all out using my @intelliroll foam roller! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Years and years ago in Arizona, our Hybrid Circuits were developed, initially, as a way to temporarily depart from the training norms at the time which started to lack a certain kind of energy and intensity...boredom 😕. In hindsight, combining functional strength training with high intensity cardio and a high emphasis on great music turned out to be a game changer not only for the members but the coaches too...new energy, better results!

Les abdos, les squats, la course à pied, ça passe.

Les pompes - oui j’en parle souvent, y’a pas de raison que je sois le seul à en bouffer - j’en ai jamais fait autant.

Je crois qu’en 76 jours j’en ai fait plus que dans toute ma vie...

Et c’est sans doute sur les muscles liés aux pompes que je sens les premiers changements.

Pectoraux, triceps, épaules.
.
Et depuis quelques jours j’ai l’impression d’avoir un alien dans les pecs.
.
C’est pas des courbatures. C’est pas des contractures. Ça fait pas mal.
.
C’est comme si ça vivait là d’dans, comme si un truc était en train de naître. Ouais c’est ça, je suis enceint de nouveaux seins tout beaux tout neufs !
.
L’entraînement quotidien produit ses premiers effets, longs, lents, et à vrai dire il faut bien se connaitre pour repérer le moindre changement.

Rien ne progresse vite et parfois ça stagne, voire ça régresse.
.
Alors quand je sens un p’tit pec qui pousse, forcément c’est la fiesta !

Do you like tabata training as much as I do?😄 Tabata is a high intensity interval training, where a full workout is structured on the 20 seconds on - 10 seconds off pattern. Because of the high speed/ high intensity style, typically a tabata training is only 4-6 minutes long. 📑Tabata training was proposed by Izumi Tabata, who in 1996 at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo in a 6-weeks’ long study demonstrated that people who did a high intensity interval training of only 4 minutes a day x 5 days a week 😃 increased their aerobic capacity by 40% and their strength by 28% 💪compared to people who did one hour steady low-impact training x 5 days a week. 📃Since then a lot of research supported Tabata’s evidence: that interval strength training builds speed, power, strength and cardiovascular endurance. 💪 👍In addition, when comparing muscle biopsies, measuring muscle enzyme activity and lipid utilisation in the post exercise state, high intensity interval training is shown to cause more calories and fat to be burned following (!) the workout.  Here is one of my tabatas for training outside, no equipment needed, as you’ll only use your bodyweight. Remember 20 sec on, 10 sec off-> get the timer and go! 🤩 > side jumps

This is working 7 to 3, immediately coming home to finish laundry, completing my High Intensity Interval workout, prepping and putting dinner in the oven (new goal), and now headed to the gym for abs and runnning. Have not stopped but neither does life. When you want something you work hard for it. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts, often referred to as Metabolic Resistance Training continue to be popular among a wide variety of clients and athletes of all types.

Adding some higher intensity running 🏃‍♂️into my weekly routine to hopefully 🤞 improve my frankly pitiful 10k pace 😂 ——-
Today was 5 x 1K intervals with 3:30 min rest between 💦 (the last one was uphill hence the slower pace 🥵) averaging 4.19 per km though if I can get near this pace for 10k it will get me below my 45 min target 👍

Yesterday was leg day and I’m felling it today.....my 🦵are sooooo sore! Stated out with a “Death by Troy” leg focused HIIT workout 💀 This one was brutal! My AHR was 166....it got up to 180 at one point! After I recovered from the HIIT, I did a short quad focused workout. Full workout 👇 Videos☝️ .
