Spirituality has become my priority and focus for training. I’ve cut down on vigorous workouts and concentrated on more meditation and inner work. I’ve been monitoring my resting heart rate and heart rate variability since November 2017, and I am seeing the effects of relaxation and meditation on my mind and body in numbers: -The hours I spend in deep sleep have increased. -My resting heart rate has gone down to average 44bpm (today it hit 41 bpm which is a record) when it used to average 52bpm. -My heart rate variability has gone up to average 131 this past week when it used to average 80.
I will continue on this path and see where it leads me. The intention is peace, wisdom, love and joy regardless of outcomes!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the hiatus but this week I am on VACATION!! Which I am beyond excited for! Today I got to spend the day at my friends camp. .

Today I accomplished so much! So anyone who goes swimming in a lake with me knows I cannot swim passed where I can touch. A fear of the unknown..idk just gets to me. I also cannot go where there is seaweed!

It took some encouragement from my friends but I managed to swim over the seaweed and make it to the water trampoline! It was very hard to get up! I then went to try paddle boarding and also scared myself, being even further into the water! I got a major arm workout in as we were on the water for more than 2 hours! I tried to sit in a kiak too but switched back to paddle board. Then after dinner we went back down and went on paddle boats for another hour! We had to use so much leg power to get us to move which was fun but tiresome!

Needless to say I got a lot of working out in today! I am already feeling sore! I am proud and was super happy to share it with my friends from home!

I'm feeling a lot better today. Thanks for asking! ;) Today, I take a look at the numbers again. #CaloriesBurned . It never makes sense to me. These are results from my #Fitbit . It makes it look like I'm really not exerting much energy, but my #heartrate (and sweat) shows differently. 
I'm attempting to burn MORE. Each set is short, but weight is such that I can't complete 3 without decreasing or stopping.
#Cardio - I'm attempting more #resistance and sticking to 30 minute intervals.
