What I’m saying is that we need to take part in our own health- be our MAIN advocate!  Too often it seems we go to the Dr and take whatever they give us without question. Drs are busy and they (unfortunately) can’t dig through your whole story to find causes if symptoms. They also don’t always catch side effects and drugs that’s don’t play well together.

YOU need to take responsibility for YOUR health!  Lao if your Dr won’t listen to you or thinks something is just in your head ..... maybe you need a new Dr and some researching on your own.

When I found out I had esophagus issues (EOE) my Dr wanted me to take steroids and Prilosec. He scoffed when I asked if diet would make a difference.  He didn’t when I came back much improved by ONLY changing my diet.😉

Fiberrik rödbetssmoothie! ~ Beetroot and raspberry smoothie made of beetroots, frozen cauliflower, lime, frozen lingon berries, frozen raspberries, frozen avocado and fresh ginger.

For quantities swipe left. Add about 2 glasses of water. This will give you smoothie for 2-3 people.

I would have added even more raspberries in relation to the other ingredients 😋

For a hotter smoothie, add more fresh ginger!🔥 Ginger has powerful antiinflammatory properties.
.
If you prefer smoothies to be sweeter exchange the cauliflower with some fruit, such as mango, apples or pears.

Avocado need a lot of water to grow, so use them sparingly. A tip is to buy frozen avocado to make sure you don't have to toss out overmature  avocados.

I find that I throw away less food with frozen ingredients.

We are in a time where chronic disease is becoming more and more common⁣⁣⁣⁣

It is almost impossible to meet someone that doesn’t have family members or friends without some sort of illness whether it be anxiety, depression, cancer or diabetes ⁣⁣⁣⁣

I think the reason for this is the sheer amount of toxins we are loading our bodies with. Toxins are impossible to avoid in the form of pollution and chemicals. We are overprescribing antibiotics even when we can treat these problems naturally ⁣⁣⁣⁣

If we look at Weston A. Prices book, Nutritional and physical degeneration, the tribes and cultures that Doctor Price visited were absent of Chronic Disease and mental illness. What did they do differently?⁣⁣⁣⁣

It was nearly impossible for them to injure their guts. They were eating very nourishing foods and ate lots of fermented foods to keep their guts healthy. There was also an absence of drugs and antibiotics ⁣⁣⁣⁣

They lived close to nature away from pollution. They had lots of exposure to sunlight promoting a healthy circadian rhythm cycle. We are constantly finding out more about how important the sun is for our physically and mental health. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Because of technology and phones we are spending lots of time inside away from the sun. Blue light from modern technology has also been shown to mess with hormone balance and sleep.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Having a green smoothie every morning is one of my anchor habits. 💚The recipe changes daily but something like:

1 cup water 
1/2 frozen banana
2 cups greens (I like spinach or kale for their nutritional content)
1 scoop vegan protein powder in Vanilla
1 scoop Greens
1 scoop of resistant starch
1/2 cup other fruit (blueberries will hide the colour if you are trying to get this into your kids)
3 tsp flaxseeds 
1 tsp chlorella/spiruluna

You can drink it or eat it as a smoothie bowl. My favourite is to pour it into a bowl and then sprinkle some nuts, seeds and maybe some berries on top. 
Packing in the greens and protein first thing in the morning makes me feel like I've got 'insurance' in case the rest of the day doesn't go as planned (which sometimes happens - especially when we are busy). What is your first thing in the morning anchor habit?

Do you feel like the list of foods you can eat is shrinking by the day?

Maybe you're taking steps to improve your digestion and you've figured out some select foods that don't bother you, but as soon as you stray from that list it sets you back for days or even weeks 😫

This isn't normal, and it can be corrected! Normally it's just a few foods that are causing the problem, but because of the inflammation more and more foods are also giving you a reaction (see today's video in the bloating Master Series for more on this!) There's no need to put up with this as there are simple solutions that will take away the pain, fatigue and inconvenience of being so reactive to food. DAY 17 of 30 💪🏼
No, that’s not my 17th workout; however, I’ve maintained my 25-25-25 challenge which includes 25 push ups (not the girl push ups 😏), 25 sumo squats, & 25 dead bug crunches every morning and every night. ⚡️

I’m loving the consistency of it and also have incorporated a few HIIT workouts (high intensity interval training). -
@doooker and I are half way through the month and he’s already down 12 POUNDS (and he’s eating nutrient dense foods and plant powered yummy shakes! I’m not focusing on weight loss, rather I’m building muscle & stamina. -
⚡️THE PROGRAM ⚡️is designed to target the “elimination organs” and focus on a cellular level by balancing blood sugar & by getting the body to an alkaline state by eliminating inflammatory, addictive, and acidic foods. We are both feeling amazing and can’t wait to continue to go strong the rest of the month and for MONTH ✌🏼.
