Day 74 - It was a thunderous night and a pleasant sparkly morning. A very good start to this week. Today I've made the humble Potato & Cauliflower stir fry (Aloo Gobi Sabzi) with Fenugreek Flat Indian Bread ( Methi Paratha) and Cabbage Peanut Salad. 
The salad is a little less colorful for me but it's definitely high on the taste.

Veggie Burger Patties: This was my first try making veggie burger patties with my friend. The kidney bean patties turned out quite well and held firm where as the chickpea patties broke apart everytime. We wrapped these patties using a lettuce with some feta and stir fried vegetables in between. Although they weren't perfect patties...the overall lettuce wrap / burger tasted yumm! 😋

來說說紫薯對減肥的關聯,
每100克的紫薯僅含0.2克脂肪,
99kcal,熱量大概是米飯的1/3,
是很好的低脂肪、低熱能食品。
它能防止醣轉化為脂肪而到達
減肥的效果、通便排毒等等。

Burrito Bowl Salad - Recipe Below 
My go to salad lately has been this burrito style salad bowl that I actually created by accident from leftover burritos. Turns out it was so good I have it almost every day now. Its really simple and quick to make and tastes delicious. When making salads, people tend to throw lettuce, tomato and cucumber and call it a day. The key to a tasty and filling salad is a balance of healthy, low GI carbohydrates, healthy fats, fibre and protein. 
This salad is high in 
Protein - For muscle building and helping us to feel fuller for longer 
Fibre- Great for gut health, helps us stay “regular” and keeps us fuller for longer 
Healthy Carbohydrates - Slow releasing carbohydrates that give us sustained energy throughout the day. 
Healthy Fats - monounsaturated fats are very beneficial for you health. They can help to reduce “bad” LDL cholesterol and increase levels of “good” HDL cholesterol, which ultimately can reduce the risk of heart disease. 
As well as Iron, Vitamin C and many other beneficial vitamins and minerals. 
Recipe: 
Mixed Lettuce, chopped finely 
1/2 Avocado 
1/2 Tin Black Beans, drained and rinsed 
2 Tbs Burrito Spice 
Baked Sweet potato (I pre prepare this) 
1/4 Red onion 
1 Tomato, chopped finely 
1 Lime 
1. Mix black beans and burrito spice in bowl and add to chopped lettuce 
2. Guacamole: Mash Avocado, add red onion, juice of half a lime, salt and mix 
3. Add sweet potato and tomato to salad mix, squeeze lime and toss
4. Add guacamole to top of salad and serve 
I like to pre prepare everything in large batches, so when I make everything all I have to do is chuck it all in a bowl and it takes no less than 2 minutes

Ik blijf een omelet DE manier om restjes groente weg te werken.. Ook had ik nog een stukje tofu die ik marineerde met sojasaus, vissaus en sambal. Wat champignons en bosui. Met alleen wat rucola. Heerlijk broodloos dagje! Wat doe jij in je omelet??

Wraps worden hier heel vaak gegeten.😍 Toch zeker elke twee weken maak ik ze klaar. We zijn er dan ook verzot op en je kan er alle kanten mee uit! Deze keer de wrap met falafel en tzatziki. Een must try voor iedereen.

Wat heb je nodig?
-2 wraps
-8 falafelballetjes (de mijne waren redelijk klein)
-kerstomaatjes
-komkommer
-gemengde sla
-griekse yoghurt
-lookpoeder, zout en peper
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hoe maak je het? 🤗
Zet en pan op het vuur en laat wat boter smelten. Bak de falafel.
Rasp 1/4de van de komkommer en pers er het overtollige water uit.
Doe in een kommetje met 2 eetlepels yoghurt, peper, zout en lookpoeder. Meng goed. 
Snijdt een beetje komkommer en kerstomaatjes in blokjes.
Als de falafel klaar is warm je de wrap kort op.
Nu kan je beleggen, vergeet zeker de lekkere saus niet! 😍
