Unfortunately there are no magic for losing fat. Losing fat happens when you decide to commit to a journey, where hard work and resistance to various temptations is required.✅ -
Nutrition is your biggest priority. To lose fat, a caloric deficit is required. Only when you body burns more than it consumes, will you shed fat. You also want to make sure you keep your protein high, to aid in muscle retention and that you have a nutritious and high quality diet. -
When it comes to training, you want to try to maintain as much strength as possible. In compound lifts you want to stay on the same weights as long as you can before you have to drop. Getting weak is natural, but this way you ensure you keep as much muscle as you can. 🏋️‍♂️ -
Cardio is not necessary to lose fat. However, it is a great tool to help you create a larger caloric deficit. Or if you feel like you need to eat more food because you’re hungry, simply do more cardio, so that you can eat more.💧 -

As long as that simplicity includes a little peanut butter and chocolate, am I right?🙌🏼 Well.... If I'm wrong drop me a comment below 👇🏼and I'll have my secretary file your complaint 😆

📝 INGREDIENTS:
▪️1 cup peanut butter
▪️1/4 cup coconut oil
▪️1 1/2 TBS maple syrup
▪️1/8 tsp sea salt
▪️1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
▪️1 tsp coconut oil 👩🏻‍🍳 DIRECTIONS:
1️⃣ Line an 8x8 with parchment paper (for thin shards), loaf pan (thick bars)
2️⃣In small saucepan, med to low heat, melt: peanut butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and salt until smooth. Pour into prepared tray
3️⃣In another small saucepan over med to low heat, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil by stirring until smooth
4️⃣Drizzle chocolate over and use a toothpick to make marbled effect by dragging and swirling chocolate - this is soooo therapeutic 💆🏻‍♀️ haha
5️⃣Freeze for a few hours, make sure it’s set. Then cut into any size pieces you like, the smaller you make them, the longer they’ll last - I’ll have to adopt this approach next time 😆
6️⃣Store then in the freezer, these WILL melt at room temp and in refrigerator. Eat straight from the freezer, they literally melt between your fingers .

After my cheat day yesterday, I try to be mindful today, but with clingy little baby on the side, I can't be picky with my food.. but I still trying to make it work somehow. While plating this, I could hear his crying/screaming, so  I just throw whatever I can and take picture as fast as possible😅. For now, I'm trying to enjoy this clingy moments because I know it won't last forever.

HAPPY EASTER berry trifle 🍒🍓🍫🐰🍰 There are several times a year any food goes. Easter is one of them. This recipe is inspired by my Grandma’s combined with some of @twisted’s crazy looking dishes and a less sherry 😂 I used @elmlea_ukie double to whip up and top the whole thing off. CLICK SAVE and ENJOY 😋 #ad #lessthan2 —————————————————————— INGREDIENTS

Custard

500ml Full Fat Milk
2 Egg Yolks
2 Eggs 
50g Caster Sugar
40g Cornflour
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

The Rest

550ml @elmlea_ukie Double
30g Icing Sugar
500g Cherry Madeira Cake (cut into slices 1-2cm thick)
200g Raspberries
200g Strawberries (quartered)
250g Cherry Jam
100ml Sherry —————————————————————— RECIPE

You’ll need a saucepan for the custard.

For the custard: 
1. Whisk the eggs and sugar together in a large bowl. Add the cornflour and vanilla extract, continue to whisk until smooth. Slowly heat the milk on the hob until hot but not boiling. Stir regularly.
2. Once hot, slowly add to the bowl a bit at a time, whisking each bit you add regularly as you go. 
3. Once all combined, return to a gentle heat and whisk gently but constantly until it’s nice and thick. 
4. Remove from heat, whisk for another minute whilst cooling slightly. 
5. Cover with clingfilm so that It’s in contact with the custard (stops a skin forming on top) and leave aside to cool.

For the rest:

1. Cook all but a few of the rasperries and all but a few of the strawberries with half of the jam on a medium heat for 20-25 minutes. Stirring regularly until slightly thinner than jam. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Carry on to step 2-4 whilst the berries cook.
2. Spread half of the Madeira slices with the rest of the cherry jam. Sandwich with the rest of the Madeira. Pour the sherry in a bowl and dip each Madeira sandwich in sherry before lining the base of the trifle dish. 
3. Cover the madeira with the berries from the pan. Cover in cooled custard. Set aside.
4. Pour the Elmlea double in a bowl and sprinkle over the icing sugar. Use a whisk to whip until thick.
5. Cover the trifle with the whipped Elmlea and top with remaining berries and easter goodies.

Esta receita é inspirada na famosa receita- Cannelloni, como sabemos são um formato de massa cilíndrica tipicamente italiana. Normalmente é consumido com recheio salgado que pode incluir queijo ricota e vegetais como o espinafre, e também com carne moída. 😁
Esta receita é diferente do tradicional Cannelloni, são "Cannelloni" - crepes de ovo, experimenta que vais gostar também como se fosse o real Cannelloni. ☺️

Ingredientes para a massa dos crepes:
- 3 ovos;
- 2 c.sopa de farinha de arroz;
- Sal q.b;
- 4 pimentas q.b.
Ingredientes para o recheio:
- 2 latas de atum;
- 1 courgette pequena;
- 1 cenoura pequena;
- 1 cebola;
- Sal q.b;
- Pimenta q.b;
- Orégãos q.b;
- Queijo de cabra q.b;
- Azeite q.b.
Preparação dos crepes:
- Numa taça colocar os ovos, a farinha e os temperos;
- Mexer tudo muito bem;
- Colocar um pouco do preparado na frigideira para fazer o crepe;
- Depois de acabar o preparado dos crepes, reservar e passar para o recheio.
Preparação do recheio:
- Num tacho colocar a cebola, os temperos e o azeite para fazer um refogado;
- Depois colocar a cenoura, o atum e a courgette;
- Deixar cozinhar;
- Depois dos crepes e do recheio confecionados, passar a montar os “Cannelloni”;
- Colocar o recheio dentro dos crepes e polvilhar com queijo;
- Levar ao forno a 180°, +/- 10 min.

This morning we've used left over jalapeno and 3 cheese bread to make fancy open bacon and egg sandwiches. 😍

I toasted the bread, then topped with spinach, slices of smoked bacon, grilled cherry tomatoes and poached eggs. I seasoned with chilli and garlic salt. Delish!

-Through getting to know @hypnoticw I have learnt a lot of new things about diet and eating habits. Whilst travelling with her I tried out intermittent fasting, where I ate 2 BIG meals a day at midday and in the evening. Although it didn’t work out everyday, this is deffo a new thing that I want to try and stick to! 
Waiting till midday to eat a huge fruit feast always made me feel amazing! This is because it’s high volume/water, high nutrients and extra high deliciousness! Fruit is also quickly digested, so I love that it made me feel very full but not lethargic or tired like what happens after eating heavier foods.

I’m definitely going to try and stick with this new way of eating as it has stopped me snacking and craving which is also a plus! Does anyone reading this fast intermittently?

Para começar este sábado fiz umas papas de abacate 🥑, com pitaya (Dragon fruit) e skyr 
Juntei 500g de iogurte skyr (para duas pessoas), 1/2 abacate e 1/2 da pitaya 
Juntei frutos vermelhos, linhaça, sementes de cânhamo, pólen de abelha e pepitas de cacau cru 
Um pequeno-almoço cheio de vitaminas, minerais e antioxidantes 
A pitaya é um fruto com baixas calorias, rica em vitaminas do complexo B e também vitamina C, contudo não é fundamental a sua ingestão para obtermos estas mesmas vitaminas dado que uma fruta cara e nos não temos em Portugal por isso, não é nada sustentável 🤓

Dopo anni che preparo pancake in tutti i modi e con tutti gli ingredienti possibili, ho sperimentato la ricetta dei pancakes perfetti! morbidissimi e gustosi🤤.
Nelle stories potrete notare ancora di più la morbidezza, è una cosa indescrivibile, non mi sono nemmeno accorta di averlo finito in 30 secondi😕.
Vi lascio di seguito la ricetta e gli ingredienti che ho utilizzato🤗

TORRETTA DI PANCAKES📝🥞:
-30 gr di farina di avena;
-10 gr di farina di cocco🥥;
-100 gr di albume🍳;
-1 cucchiaino di yogurt greco 0% @fage_italia ;
-1 banana matura🍌;
Ingredienti semplicissimi da reperire✌ poi ad esempio io avevo terminato la farina e così ho frullato i fiocchi di avena e ne ho ottenuto la farina.
Per la decorazione ho utilizzato cioccolato fondente al 85% 🍫, cocco grattugiato e burro di arachidi🥜 @myproteinit .
Come può non essere una buona giornata con una colazione del genere??💕

We made shepherd pie. Crust lovers, sorry, this is a crustless version. 😃

Directions:
- Sauté onion and garlic with carrots 🥕 .
- Add minced meat, cook to brown in the same skillet with salt and pepper. - Add chicken broth, thyme, rosemary and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until thick. - Separately prepare potatoes with milk, butter and one egg yolk. Stir in a cup of cheese 🧀 .
- Put minced meat in baking dish, add corn and peas.
- Top with mashed potatoes and bake until it's browned.
