Bollitos pelones de arroz en salsa de tomate.

Ingredientes:

Para la masa de los bollitos:
1 taza de harina de maíz.
3 tazas de arroz cocido.
½ tazas de agua (aproximadamente).
½ de sal.
Para el relleno:
2 tazas de lentejas cocidas al dente.
1 rama de cebollín.
1 rama de cilantro.
1 taza de agua o caldo.
2 cucharadas de aceite.
Para la salsa: 
1 cucharada de aceite
½ kilo de tomate.
½ cebolla, picada finamente.
1 rama de celery o apio España.
½ zanahoria o una mediana
Sal y orégano.
1 taza de agua.
2 cda de aceite.

Preparación:

El relleno

En una olla mediana colocar el aceite y sofreír el cebollín y agregar las lentejas cocidas y pasadas levemente por la licuadora o procesador, luego sazonar con la sal, agregar el onoto y cilantro, mezclar, agregar el agua, tapar, revolver de vez en cuando y dejar secar, retirar del fuego y reservar.

Para los bollos
Aparte colocar al fuego una olla grande llena de agua hasta 3/4 tapar y dejar hervir. 
En un tazón colocar la harina de maíz, con el arroz, el agua y la sal, mezclar hasta obtener una masa homogénea, suave y compacta. Si es necesario agregue más agua.

Hacer bolitas de masa del tamaño del puño de la mano o más pequeñas, abrir un hueco ayudándonos con el dedo pulgar y rellenar con una cucharada de las lentejas, pero no hasta el tope, cerrar con cuidado, si la masa se seca o resquebraja, humedecer los dedos en agua y continuar. 
Colocarlas bolitas de masa rellenas en el agua hirviendo sin tapar, cuando suban (floten) ya están listas.

En la misma olla de cocción de las lentejas, colocar al fuego y añadir la cucharada de aceite, sofreír la cebolla, el célery y la zanahoria rallada, agregar el tomate, que se debe colocar en una olla con agua hirviendo por tres minutos, quitar la piel, y licuar, sazonar con la sal y orégano, agregar el agua y dejar cocinar a fuego medio, revolviendo constantemente hasta que comience a espesar. Debe quedar muy suave.

Servir los bollitos pelones bañados en salsa, se pueden acompañar con, vegetales cocidos o crudos.

💡🌱 White bean mash 😍 We love this tasty alternative to traditional mash, plus it’s Keto friendly, gluten free, low carb, low calorie, high protein and high fibre. 💫
2 cloves of garlic, crushed 
1/2 onion, diced
400g tin cannelloni white beans (plus water)
2cm rosemary sprig, chopped .
Sauté onion in a small fry pan until translucent then add garlic for 1 minute. Add the entire can of beans including water and simmer for 10 minutes until soft, stirring frequently.
Add rosemary and cracked pepper and sea salt then mash rigorously until smooth.
Serve with fish and salad 🐟

Life’s a little different now. While I kept off of Snapchat and Facebook, I did (obviously) welcome Instagram back into my life and with vengeance to say the least! 🤣

This face. This is how I felt every day of the 365 days I spent without social media. I’m telling you, it was liberating. Freeing. . Life’s a little different now. 👩‍⚕️AVENA CON LECHE DE ALMENDRAS 🍶Ingredientes para toda la receta 🥣canela en polvo al gusto 🥣1/4 taza de azúcar morena 🥣2 tazas de leche de almendras 🥣sal al gusto 🥣1/2 taza de avena entera 🥣1 pieza de manzana 
PREPARACIÓN 👉Picar las manzanas en cubos pequeños, se puede picar o poner con todo y cáscara.
👉Calentar la leche de alemndras con la pizca de sal y el azúcar hasta que suelte el hervor. Bajar la lumbre, agregar la avena, mezclar y continuar cociendo 5 minutos revolviendo ocasionalmente.

Ok, I know this picture doesn’t rank very high in quality, but in TASTE, these were oh so stinkin’ good! And just this one filled me up. I used carne asada, a little bit of onion sautéed in butter and seasonings, and the carb balance mission tortillas (no keto 🚔) Then, I whipped up a homemade cheese sauce with butter, cream cheese, HWC, and cheeeeeeeeez 🧀 Baked them at 350 for about 15 minutes and then broiled for about 3. ⏲ Can I just eat all the cheese in the world, pretty please? 🧡💛

Este arroz negro de coliflor con pulpo es una delicia, háganlo de verdad está divino 🤤
•
INGREDIENTES:
- 1/2 pulpo (previamente hervido*)
- 1/4 de cebolla
- 2 cebollitas
- 2 dedos de poro
- 3/4 de taza de bits de coliflor y brócoli de @lechugaseva (previamente hervidos por 5min)
- 1 diente de ajo
- 1 sobre de tinta de calamar
- Aceite de oliva, sal y pimienta.
•
PREPARACIÓN:
Cortar todo en cuadros y trocear el pulpo. Sofreír la cebolla, el poro, las cebollitas y el ajo con 1 cda de aceite de oliva hasta que se transparenten agregar el pulpo, dar un par de vueltas y agregar los bits y la tinta de calamar, cocinar por unos minutos mas. En el plato le coloqué un poco de arúgula debajo.
•
*El pulpo se hierve completo durante unos 40min para que ablande, yo antes lo espantaba y le hacia varias cosas pero la verdad desde que lo hiervo me queda muy bien.
•
Esta receta es para una persona. Use la mitad del pulpo para esta receta y la otra mitad para otra, si lo quieren hacer completo pues el doble de todo.
•
La tinta de calamar la conseguí en el sumesa (en superama que es donde siempre voy no tienen), fueron 4 sobres por $9 pesos algo así.

🤩 GUYS! First mini tri in the books tonight ✨

Scott and I spent a lot of time, Monday, talking about how our lives are going to change drastically over the next few months as we prepare for Ironman 70.3 🙊 so naturally I started freaking out - race gear has been purchased, officially signed up, training has begun but still SO MUCH to do so I don’t die on race day 😂

I went home after our talk, still freaking out on the inside because I’m no where near ready. Buuttttt then I began reflecting on my journey. It didn’t happen over night and neither will being prepared for this event. When I first started working out (October 2016) I was on the freaking #strugglebus 👉🏼 I couldn’t run more than a block without walking.  I couldn’t lift any weights (hey wine bottles in the corner, I see you...yup, that’s what I lifted 🍷) I couldn’t get my butt up in the morning to workout if my life depended on it.

We can’t expect to drastically change over night. Just doesn’t happen, sorry. But with perseverance, hard work, my tribe of women that I check in with daily, amazing workouts, and a super supportive boyfriend and family I will be ready on June 2nd 🏊🏼‍♂️ 🚲 🏃🏽‍♀️

30g PEScience Gourmet Vanilla Select Protein (“FDL” saves you 15%)
40g All Purpose Flour (Can sub 40g Pancake Mix of your choice)
10g Coconut Flour
4g Zero Cal Sweetener of your Choice
4g Baking Powder
50g Egg Whites

✳️ Ingredients for Protein Dark Chocolate Icing:
8g PEScience Gourmet Vanilla Select Protein
5g Black Cocoa Powder
1g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
20g Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt
10-20ml Cold Water

Sea Salt Flakes

1️⃣ Add all your dry ingredients into a bowl and mix to help avoid clumping when mixed with the wet.
2️⃣ Now add your egg whites and mix in the best you can. Then add water slowly and mix till you have the batter consistency. Add to freezer if you added too much liquid. That’ll help thicken it up.
3️⃣ Preheat you mini waffle makers (I use the Dash Mini Waffle Maker) and make up your waffles! I actually have two of them because each one is only $9.99 on amazon!
4️⃣ Cook up all your waffle and add them to cooling rack to make sure they don’t get soggy before you eat them!
5️⃣ Then add your toppings and enjoy!

🔸 Para hacerla, colocar un trozo de panceta (la compre en la carnicería en crudo, sin curar ni nada) en una fuente apta para horno, agregarle ajo picado + jugo de limón 🍋 + sal y hornearla por 1 hora a fuego medio. 🔸 Luego, trocearla como en la foto, colocar cada “rebanada” de costado y cocinar por 15 minutos a fuego fuerte para que dore. Una bomba de sabor! 💥

👉🏽 TIP: en la fuente va a quedar una cantidad de grasa super abundante. NO LA TIREN!! Guárdenla en la heladera (va a solidificar) y úsenla como reemplazo del aceite en cualquier preparación: woks, huevos fritos en esta grasa, etc. Le da un sabor exquisito! 💥💥💥

*3 xícaras de farinha de trigo integral
*3 xícaras de aveia em flocos
*1 1/2 xícara de óleo

Quando se trata de #emagrecimento (e não só nessa situação), não considero apenas UMA estratégia nutricional para alcançar o objetivo.

O fato é: a dieta ocidental, rica em farinha de trigo, pão, pizza, açúcar, gorduras de má qualidade (óleo de soja, canola, margarina) e etc é o que leva a maior parte das pessoas ao sobrepeso.

Por isso, considerar a #lowcarb (baixo carboidrato diário) em um primeiro momento pode sim ser interessante, pensando que ao corrigir as quantidades destes alimentos na dieta, a #qualidadedevida e a #perdadepeso serão otimizados.

No entanto, cada organismo é único e não podemos considerar UMA dieta (ou planejamento alimentar, como gosto de chamar) a melhor para TODO MUNDO.

If you’re trying to reduce your calories or carbs intake and wanna eat meat, fish or tofu, replace the rice/bread/pasta with a salad as a base/side instead of eating it alone! 🥗 you’ll not only add flavours to your plate but colours too🌈
