همراه با كنجد و سياه دونه و سس ماست و روغن زيتون 
با کلم بروکلی جوان بمانید : آنتی اکسیدان های موجود در ویتامین c در جلوگیری از آسیب ها پوستی ناشی از تابش نور خورشید و چین و چروک بسیار حائز اهمیت است . زمانی که صحبت از ویتامین c می شود اغلب مردم مرکبات را منبعی سرشار از ویتامین c می شناسند . در صورتی که یک فنجان کلم بروکلی حاوی ۸۱ میلی گرم ویتامین c می باشد . این مقدار بیشتر از مقداری است که شما در یک روز کامل نیاز دارید . ویتامین C نقش مهمی در تشکیل کلاژن دارد . ویتامین A و ویتامین E نیز داشتن پوستی سالم مورد نیاز هستند ، که بروکلی هردوی این ویتامین ها را نیز فراهم می کند .

Well to be honest this weekend I have been off track and today is Easter Sunday. But I'm not going to dwell on it. I'm so bloated aswell. On a positive note the weather is beautiful where I live so I've been out and about trying my best to get some exercise even with a crutch. Any here I was at Starbucks and went with a healthy sandwhich and I'm not sure if a green mache tea is healthy or not. It was hot and I needed a cold drink. I did ask for sugar free syrup though and instead of 5 pumps they usually give I asked for half.

Not the best picture but yesterday Scott and I went to a local deli for lunch. I went for Tuna mayo toasties with tomato and herb soup. This all comes in around 600 cals. Also had Chinese chicken and Sweet potato mash for dinner last night. Didn't track as well as I could have but could have made worse choices!

Good stack of pancake yesterday was named like WEEKENDS 
I love combination of oat flour and banana in a pancake... We have a really great day then, you can follow it in my stories ❤️
For this pancake stack I use
Oat flour
Baking powder 
Half of banana (and some slices for stuffing)
Cinnamon 
Flaxseed egg 
Mix it all, then fry them on heat pan on each side until would done! Mine topped with date syrup, blueberries, coconut flakes and some cinnamon on top) Yummy & yummy 🤤

Was it your lack of will power that ultimately led you to the ice cream binge? If you had more motivation, drive, or commitment, could you have stuck to your diet until the “end”?

Everyone’s will power is limited. Some may have more capacity than others, but eventually, if pushed enough, everyone hits a wall. Remember how hard it was to say no to that doughnut at work? Could you keep that up every day for a month? A year? 10 years?

While will power can help you accomplish amazing things, it’s not always available to us. But habits are. Why? Because once they’re established, they take minimal effort to execute. Take brushing your teeth for an example. Even on your worst days, you’d probably still brush your teeth before going to bed without giving it much thought or effort. Why? Because it’s a well established habit that doesn’t take much will power to execute. The difference between change using habits versus will power alone is sustainability.

Everyone wants to succeed. And if will power alone was enough for sustainable change, I wouldn’t be making this post. But I am, and that’s because it doesn’t lead to lasting change. Saying no to that doughnut you’ve dreamed about, or dragging yourself to the gym everyday for an hour of suffering takes massive amounts of will power. It will eventually run out, leading you to the bottom of the ice cream tub again and again.

In part 3, I will show you how I help my clients reach their goals using the power of habit, which leads to lasting behavioural change.

I’ve been bugging Joel for months about getting a new bike, and yesterday he finally gifted me this beauty! 🥰🚲 Our new city is sooo tiny that you can literally commute everywhere via bike, and he already has been for a month or so. With gas being $1.23 a liter (for all my fellow Americans, that’s over $4/gallon!) , we decided this summer, unless traveling to visit family, well bike everywhere. I’m so excited!

We live in a world where we want what’s cheap, quick, and easy. Friends, fueling your body with better options doesn’t have to be hard. Sure it’s easy go to the drive thru and grab your lunch, but typically you end up tired, lacking energy, and bloated. 
Don’t you want to feel good? YOU are worth those extra few minutes it takes to pack your lunch. You deserve to feel awesome EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

You can eat your oatmeal every morning, but I challenge you to make it yourself. I throw these items together at night, store it in the fridge and heat it up in the AM because cold oats 🤢 IMO 😉

You get ONE body. That’s it. Pay attention to what makes you feel GOOD and what doesn’t. Fuel your body! 💕

Adam looked at me, because he knew I was fixing to do or say something. I laughed out loud at the doctor. When I was 230lbs on these programs I was eating around 2700 calories and as I lost weight I refigured my bracket. .

Healthy breakfast Easter eggs for my son. 
I’ve always been health conscious and so I started the tradition when my first child was old enough to do Easter egg hunts with gold coins in hollow plastic eggs mixed in with a few smaller chocolate eggs.

My son now requests toys over chocolate, and my daughter said she’d had enough chocolate from her dad and wanted craft materials from me for Easter.

I’m aiming to have some good healthy fun with my kids today.

Did you know I used to have an unhealthy relationship with food? I only thought of it in terms of calories (not fuel). I didn’t see it for its nutritional value — mostly because I wasn’t eating anything nutritional. ⠀

It was hard + time consuming tracking every little thing into my tracker + stressing about how much I’d then have to workout to burn off what I ate. ⠀
⠀
I have since ditched the calorie counting for  coloured containers that takes all the stress out of it. I still worry about what I eat sometimes but I recognize that negative thought + refocus. Food is here to fuel our bodies, for us to enjoy the rainbow and if it looks + tastes anything like this smoothie bowl I’m for it! ⠀

🐇My first attempt at making hot cross buns 
They did have the cross on the top before baking but they vanished in the oven🤣

Quite happy with the taste, used lemon rind, sultanas,some cinnamon and nutmeg. I swapped the white sugar for rapadura sugar and cut down the quantity. I could have bought them from the store but they contain far to many ingredients that don't get my tick of approval when I'm read the label. 
Much more fun making them. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter Sunday ❤

If you’re still hungry after finishing one plate, go ahead and eat another.

Even if you do go for a second plate, by using a smaller plate you’ll still usually end up serving less, overall. I do this to help me feel more satisfied by my meals, so if a patient asks for advice, this is one of the tips for portion control that I might share with them.

A side plate is around 9” diameter - which is pretty much the size of an average DINNER PLATE 🍽 in the 1960’s! So actually, by eating on a side plate, we’re just mimicking people of yesteryear who were, unsurprisingly, often much slimmer than we are today.

Today we have toasted sourdough multigrain topped with sliced banana, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds @naturesheartsuperfoods and a healthy chocolate and peanut butter squiggle. The chocolate sauce is from @sweetfreedomuk and uses carob and apple as a sweetener. It is vegan and gluten free and tastes great!
