Yes I normally cook like this and yes I drink my coffee and tea out of a beer mug. Why do I always cook like this? Because I love to cook, and I love the results that it produces. This is how I stay relatively lean throughout the year, by cooking my own meals and eliminating unhealthy food temptations. Nutrition is the area where most people will struggle and will fail, if they don't have the desire or discipline to change. Here is my advice, learn to cook chicken, fish, rice, eggs, and lean meats 20 different ways. Start off by making small changes in your diet. Don't just cut everything out at once. You will certainly shock your body and mostly likely revert back to those bad habits. Learn how to reduce your intakes of excess calories, sugars, and unhealthy fats gradually. Learn to curb your cravings by replacing it with something healthy. Ask yourself if you are really drinking enough water throughout the day. Are you really hungry or just bored? Are you really craving something or are you lacking something in your diet? Everyone is different, my diet is different than your diet. Learn what works for you best. You know what can and cannot do, listen to your body. Don't follow fad diets. Think of your diet as a long term investment. Will I be able to sustain this diet for 6 months or maybe a year? Can I afford this diet? How comfortable will I be on this diet? Ask yourself those important questions before you start a new diet. If you ask yourself those questions and you are unsure maybe that diet isn't for you. Ultimately YOU are responsible for your own health, not your personal trainer, and not some person online, YOU ARE. Be an adult and take responsibility for your health.
