This is my friend @jasonmichaelthomas and one of his feathered ladies that lays the delicious eggs he uses in his local, sustainable foods.
A dinner at the farm is more than just a meal. It’s an experience filled with laughter, learning, exchanging ideas and meeting new people. As a pretty intense introvert I avoid shared table dining experiences like the black plague has come to town. Not the case with a dinner at @urbanagindy , though, because everyone that sits at Jason’s table ends up as a friend by the end. We share a love of delicious food and an interest in finding a connection with the choices we make.
As a special treat tonight, after dinner, Jason took us on a tour of the urban farm nestled just north of downtown Indianapolis in @herronmortonplace where we tasted things growing in the yard, watched the bees, saw the first strawberry of the season (and shared it after), pet the chickens and asked a load of questions.
When my ladies of the mastermind group I’m in come to town in August, we’ll be having a meal or two at @jasonmichaelthomas ‘s urban farm because as I tell @drjordanburns every time he asks my favorite place to eat in indy, it’s at Jason’s table.
If you have a group and can’t decide where to eat, I highly recommend booking a private dinner with @jasonmichaelthomas and if you’re lucky, he might let you pet one of the ladies. - 4 hours ago
