Rose Ghee
Preparation time: About 1 hour, + 1 day in sun

This recipe decreases Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
🌹
1 lb. unsalted, organic butter
2 large handfuls of fresh organic rose petals
Cheesecloth
One bone dry mason jar
🌹
In a heavy medium saucepan, heat the butter uncovered over medium heat. Do not stir or tamper with the butter in any way. Initially, the butter will bubble and make loud, gurgling, bubbling sounds. You’ll notice the quality of its sound will change over time. Milk solids will sink, turn dark brown, and collect on the bottom of the pan. Water will evaporate off the top.

When the ghee is done (or close to being done), it becomes very quiet and smells like buttered popcorn. A foam layer often forms on top and a clear golden liquid hides underneath. Do not stir. Just make sure the ghee is totally clear when you move the foam aside (use a dry wooden spoon) to see what’s underneath. If the liquid still looks cloudy, the ghee is not quite done and needs to cook for another minute or two. This whole process takes anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes, but it depends on the power of your stove and your altitude (Ghee takes longer to prepare at higher altitudes).

Immediately remove the ghee from heat as it can burn rapidly, turning from a golden color to a very dark brown. Transfer the ghee to a bone-dry Pyrex glass measuring cup. Strain the liquid through a large muslin cloth teabag into a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add the rose petals to the ghee. Let the ghee and rose petals sit in the sun for as many hours as possible. 6 to 8 hours is sufficient, but 10 to 12 hours is even better. The rose petals will soften and become translucent.

Strain the rose ghee through a piece of double-folded cheesecloth into another dry container. You’ll want to squeeze out every drop you can so that you don’t miss any of the juicy rose-colored oil that gets created from this magical alchemy. Ultimately, transfer your rose ghee to a bone-dry mason jar.

Store at room temperature for one week. After that, keep it refrigerated. Use Rose Ghee any way you would use butter fresh on top of food, or use it as a healing massage oil! .

GHEE! Nourishment available for everyone. .. Have anyone heard about ghee? I used for the first time 2 years ago and i haven't stopped . I do it myself, you can do it yourself it's simple and really worth it. .. Also known as clarified butter, it is free of lactose and casein, is a great source of CLA and butyrate acid, both of which have positive health benefits for the body. 💥Ghee: ✔️ Boosts energy
✔️ Reduces inflammation ✔️ Boost inmune system and eliminate free radicals

To do it➡️ melt unsalted butter in a pot over low heat, you will see the milk solides will separate from the fat. After 10 min remove the pot from heat and let it cool for 2 minutes. Pour the butter through a cheesecloth to remove the foam and solids into a glass container.

Use it everyday to cook replacing oil or regular butter. 😉

I do it myself, you can do it yourself it's simple and really worth it. .. IDEAL PARA VATA E PITTA - É muito benéfico para o fígado, bom para inflamações no trato gastrointestinal e no combate a úlceras. - Ajuda a equilibrar o agni. - Fortalece o sistema imunológico e ajuda no tratamento de problemas pulmonares. - Melhora a memória e purifica os canais e condutos do organismo.

No dia a dia todos os óleos, manteigas e margarinas podem ser substituídos pelo ghee. Ele não precisa ser refrigerado, mas é necessário guardá-lo em um recipiente bem fechado.

Ingredientes - 400g de manteiga sem sal

Modo de fazer

1. Esquente em uma panela em fogo baixo a manteiga, mexendo com uma colher até derreter tudo.

2. Aumente o fogo. Quando começar a ferver e a superfície ficar coberta por uma espuma branca, mexa devagar e abaixe o fogo ao mínimo.

3. Deixe fervendo por cerca de 45 minutos sem mexer até que os resíduos depositados no fundo estejam com uma cor marrom dourada e a manteiga em cima esteja transparente.

4.Desligue o fogo e coe em uma vasilha com uma peneira bem fina ou um pano de linho, para que nenhum resíduo passe.

5. Guarde em uma vasilha bem fechada para evitar a entrada de ar. 
Duração: 4 meses fora da geladeira

If you’ve ever wondered how to make Ghee, you aren’t alone.  For years, I heard about its glorious flavor, but assumed it was complicated to make.  I also tried store bought brands, but wasn’t impressed. ************************************************ Then when I had to go dairy free while nursing my second baby six years ago, I figured I’d try my hand at making it.  Surprisingly, making ghee ended up being a simple process, and the final product is incredible.
