Here’s some health & fitness strategies for 10-15 year olds. Parents also pay attention!
Find a sport you love - Football, rugby, tennis, golf, hockey, swimming. Find a sport you love and perform it regularly. If you love it you’ll be more likely to stick at it. Think outside the box too. I hated team sports when I was a kid. So I got into skateboarding and literally lived for it.
Monitor your screen time - Watch out for the amount of time spent on mobile phones, TV computer or PlayStation etc.
Be active everyday - Move everyday. Whether that’s a walk, run, jump, crawl, skip or shuffle, just do it everyday.
Aim to eat colours - When you sit down for a meal aim to consume a variety of different colours. Red, green, brown, orange, purple etc. A mix like this means a good variety of macros and nutrients.
Drink water regularly - Aim for at least 1L per day to stay hydrated.
One treat per day - Allow yourself a treat or snack per day If you want, just one though, so choose wisely! - 1 hour ago
