Seated Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Extension ️
Here’s a triceps workout that I think has the potential to build your triceps. This is one of the workouts that allow you to put a decent amount of stress on your triceps. All in all, I think it a great exercise that allows you to go pretty heavy.
I like to focus on the range of motion and get decent flexion of the forearms (lowering the weight), to allow my triceps to cover a decent amount of distance during the extension part of the lift. If range of motion becomes difficult, it might be a good idea to drop the weight to hit it with proper form.
Some limiting factors for me personally with this lift is that it is tough on my wrists specially when I go heavy. Also, it is hard to get the dumbbell in the starting position when I start heading to 80-100lbs. I tend to only hit that weight if I have a spotter to help me get the weight in starting position. - 4 hours ago
