Who’s working on a skill at the moment? Struggling? Can you believe it took me over a year to master this? -
😤There were times I wanted to give up, there were times were I actually did give up/forget about them for weeks on end😅 I completely misjudged how long it would take me to get it (2months was my original target 🤣) and it’s still not 100% where I want it to be. The thing that kept me going back was simply reminding myself of the little bits of progress I was making each week & and how cool it would be when I actually did it!
😩 Here’s the thing... Too many of us expect results to happen overnight. Fact of the matter is, sustainable results with ANYTHING take TIME. -
💁🏽♀️ Whether that be conditioning your body to master a brand new skill, sculpting your physique to build muscle/loose body fat, improving your general fitness... IT’S A LONG BLOODY PROCESS!🥵
BUT☝️ that process is what is going to help you learn how to recover from mistakes, learn how to be patient, learn how to progress in other areas of your health/fitness/life, and most importantly, will be WAY more rewarding than if you were to learn something over night!👏🤩
🙃 So here’s your #MondayMotivation reminder to STICK AT IT!💪 be consistent (it probs won’t take you a year like it took me to master this if you are 😂), trust the process, keep looking for ways to improve, and be PATIENT. I promise it’ll be worth it!
