AHHH!! just got my hands on a sample workout for a brand new fitness program I’ve been keeping a secret 💫 and OMG is this going to be a blast!!! Esp if you’re hitting a rut in the gym or want to start something simple at home 🔥

It’s short 20-30min workouts to the beat of a live DJ, and minimal equipment is needed. I got such a good sweat but had FUN doing it (which like... never happens 🤣) Can’t wait to start enrollment for the launch group next month!

IF YOU LIKE OUR CLASS AND APPRECIATE THE HARD WORK THAT YOUR INSTRUCTOR DOES , please sign up DIRECTLY through the facility. ...this took a lot of #courage for me to say but I refuse to let anyone take away part of my motivation , passion for what I do We love our job but once we start feeling that we teach without being able to survive from it , doing it is NOT THE SAME. 
Some of us do this full time for a living.
That being said...
I feel like once people find out how signing up via Class Pass can hurt our commission/ compensation they will reconsider using Class Pass🙏🏽 We put so much #work and #education into our #fitnesscareer but our compensation is getting less and less . The instructors make ZERO TO $3 max per person when sign up is via class pass .
MOST cases zero to $1🤦🏼‍♀️
We instructors, prepare for hours before we show up to teach . So our work is not for one hour . We also have to keep spending time and $ on our education so we can keep giving our clients results.

Aren’t we worth getting paid for it accordingly?
This is EVERY WEEK .
And YES I LOVE WHAT I DO  but the love of art alone doesn’t pay our bills .

Please, let me say that one good thing about Class Pass is that many people who come via the app , wouldn’t know about the class if it wasn’t for this app BUT how many of these clients are returning?
I asked .. NOT many return. Almost NONE .
So who benefits From this ?? You do the calculation. CLASS HOPPING with no commitment.  So neither instructors nor the facility makes money . 
It’s like a bunch of ONE NIGHT STANDS without commitment 😡
AND YES , We prefer something vs nothing but how about your EXISTING CLIENTS who used to pay the facility directly so you used to get a commission but now they go through class pass as well ?

If class is too costly for you , let us know .
We can always give you a better deal or package .
We are now dropping our prices to encourage you to come directly to us . As low as $15 per class so we can continue doing what we do best .

EMOM workouts, otherwise known as “Every Minute on the Minute,” are a fun and creative way to manipulate your work-rest ratio during workouts.

A predetermined number of reps are assigned for each set, and they must be completed in a minute. -

If completed faster, a longer rest break may be taken. If the exerciser moves slowly, however, he or she will have a limited rest break before the next set.

NEW CLASS FOR SUMMER!

Did you know building muscle burns fat while you sleep? UMM YES PLEASE! One of my favourite kinds of exercise (other than boxing...as you know I love to punch 😜) is lifting weights and toning my body. It completely changes your body shape and most of all makes you feel so STONG and POWERFUL! 😍💪 So I thought to myself, why am I not sharing this outside of personal training with my lovely class ladies? Anyways, long story short, I am introducing a new 'Lift + tone' class on a Tuesday night! 
It will involve toning and strengthening the muscles using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises, upper body and lower body. All to music of course! You will leave this class feeling so empowered. 🏋️‍♀️ It will be smaller class so we can chit chat throughout about what we are doing, how it is helping our bodies, and most importantly what we are having for dinner that night (most likely knowing us 😂) Class based in Worthing at 2a The Drive, on a Tuesday night 7pm-7.30pm. 
This class follows on from the boxing to music class which is 6.30pm-7pm. 
It is suitable for all levels and ages, even complete beginners who have never lifted weights before. In fact this will be a great place to start and learn how to strengthen your muscles while toning your body at the same time.

In our Primal Flow classes we teach 3 to 4 Flows depending on the focus of the class.

We also repeat these Flows across at least 4 weeks.

Yes we like to encourage varied movement but we also want our Hub Heroes to see their own improvement over time. We want them to feel like they're getting better, fine tuning their movements across the weeks.

Yes, we encourage that everyone moves as they feel comfortable but we can still make sure they get the most out of the routine and the individual or combined movements.

One of the most common questions I get is.. “how do I maintain the double time beat out of the saddle?”
.
If you’re getting frustrated because your legs are burning out early in a drill (cuz you’re unable to maintain the pace / beat of the song) here are my suggestions:
.
✖️Hold the beat for as long as you can out of the saddle, and when you feel your body loosing it (slowing down), lower into the saddle and MAINTAIN the beat. Allow your body to take a break, then come back up out of the saddle once you’re legs have recovered. Every time you’re on the bike, challenge your body to stay up longer and longer. Tackle it in 5 second increments. So just make it a goal to stay up 5 MORE seconds. By doing this your building your body’s endurance.
✖️If coming up out of the saddle at a double time beat feels undoable, then hold the beat in the saddle and challenge yourself by adding resistance. The resistance will help your body build strength at the quicker beat so that you eventually are able to rise up with it.
✖️Be patient with your body. It takes time to build endurance. Focus on challenging yourself a little more every time you clip in. It took me about 6 months of consistently riding, to build my endurance to the point where I could hold a double time beat out of the saddle for 45 seconds straight. Give your body time to adapt and progress.

When riding at the double time beat it’s SUPER important to keep your body dialed in and maintain form. Here are some good general tips on form when riding out of the saddle at a quick double time beat:

✖️Hands stay light on the bars
✖️Shoulders are down away from the ears
✖️Chest is upright and open
✖️Hips are back near the nose of the saddle
✖️Hips are center, stable and not rocking or bouncing
✖️Abs are engaged to protect the back
