Thanks to my friends for the support. .
The idea originated from my selfie three weeks ago. After I posted my selfie of short hair look on my WeChat Moment, most comments focused on my nipples, which are under my cami, not exposed. My mom asked me to delete it for "moral" issues. Fine, I don't like wearing bras and don't want to explain that again and again. So I wrote an article on my personal WeChat subscription account to demonstrate it's alright for me to wear comfortably and post photos within my own social media account. Even if it was open to the wide public, it doesn't mean I should be judged.
After I posted it, I didn't expect it turned out more people commenting on my nipples, arguing why you do this and what is the bottom line of costumes on website. There were a few friends supporting me, but also there were some dirty or implicit words sent via subscription account backstage, which would only be seen by myself and gone automatically after 3 days. I can only reply (or fight back) once but it still would be gone. Actually I can see their name (name & job) with a decent portrait, but they lost the dignity and "flirted" with me when nobody else could know. Even if it was open to the wide public, it doesn't mean I should be judged.
I don’t regard myself as a victim. But I don't want to be silent either. .
The bandage thing was a joke we usually played when living with 5 other girls in the dorm in China. We say the bandages are the bras for A-cup girls. I know it's mean, so I use it on myself as a reaction to a guy who believes women's nipples should be "flat".
