🚘 Car of the Month 🚘
If you’ve seen The Fast and the Furious (2001), you’ll remember the 1994 Toyota Supra MK IV that was driven by Brian O’Connor, (played by Paul Walker). One of the most famous scenes in the movie was the drag race between the Supra and a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, which showed off some intense high-speed action involving a freight train at a railroad crossing and some serious air time.
The custom Troy Lee graphics on the car added a bit of style, while the aluminium bi-plane rear spoiler added some much-needed downforce.
The 3.0-litre engine had all its ancillaries replaced with top-notch tuner parts, taking the power up to 544hp at 6,800rpm and dropped its 0-to-60mph time to 4.3 seconds. Its top speed was 185mph.
