I used to make fun of my husband for waking up so early. Honestly, I still do bc he wakes up way earlier than me (like Mark Wahlberg early), but since I started working out consistently, I’ve come to appreciate the early mornings far more than I ever have.
The main benefits I see: + Quiet. Oh it’s so gloriously quiet in the morning before the littles are all up. I can hear myself think and finish a thought and get some reading done. + Energy. If I don’t do my workout in the morning, it’s 10x harder for me to do it later in the day because the day just wears on me like anyone else. But when I workout in the morning, I find I have plenty of energy to get me through the day! + Ready for the kids mentally, spiritually, physically, etc. Once I’ve had time in the Word, finished my workout, showered, and had time to think, I’m ready to receive the kids downstairs without being too busy or too irritated or flustered bc I woke up late.
