I also want to take a moment to talk about post workout nutrition.
This is the most IMPORTANT part of your training if you want the results that you’ve been working for.
We all know that we should consume protein after a workout right?
Well, during an intense training session your body is using up all the glycogen for energy. So when you deplete your body of glucose and only consume protein after a workout, your body will convert most of the protein back to glucose to replace what it lost during the workout.
Basically it leaves no protein In the end to build and repair with since it’s all been converted into the cell as glycogen.
So, replenishing your body with pure glucose after an intense training session along with a fast digesting protein is the key to ensure you are getting the full amount of protein for maximum gains 🏽 My favorite has been 1st Phorms Ignition as my glucose supplement and their loop D fruit 1 protein 🤤
