Whatever you choose to do in life, be it trading, building a business, or even becoming a plumber, be the best at it.
Your goal should be to be the best at whatever you do. Yes, become the best plumber known to man.
The problem is that too many people “dabble,” meaning they just kind of want it. In order to succeed, you must take on a completely new mindset. One that most people identify as obsessive, determined, motivated, and even a little bit psycho...
“Exceptional efforts result in great exceptional results.”
You won’t get paid for just “kind of wanting it.” You have to dive deep and ignite the spark from within. Allow your current situation to piss you off enough that you have no choice but to take massive action. Calibrated action that is. Write down your goals. Create spreadsheets, charts, etc...
Write down how much time you waste. Your day should be so practically structured, that everything that you do (even taking breaks) should have a purpose. Get serious!
Ask yourself right now:
Are you wasting your time? Do you just “kind of” want it, or do you really fucking want it? By doing “this” will it it put me where I want to be in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?
Imagine how the greats such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Steve Jobs took on the day. They aren’t in “reaction mode,” they’re in “production mode.” They work so incredibly efficient, that they don’t need to work another day in their life (RIP Jobs).
Do you just “kind of” want it? Or do you really fucking want it? Tell me. I genuinely want to hear who works to their maximum capacity/efficiency. Be honest. Could you work smarter/harder? Let this be your first step by identifying it. - 34 minutes ago
