What is your go-to food when you have to cook for yourself but you're too lazy?
Let me know in the comments below!
I go for the fastest - sunny side up on a toast with a freshly brewed cup of coffee or Orange juice!
It may well be the fastest but trust me, it's certainly not the easiest, definitely not for me.
A couple of months and a few dozen (well, more than a few to be honest) eggs later - I can now make sunny sides up to my liking - not saying they are perfect - cuz obviously they aren't. It might take me a couple of years and a couple thousand eggs to perfect this, I suppose. (well, I like to exaggerate sometimes..!) Until then, this is something I can live with!
Also, don't let anyone fool you into thinking there's a secret recipe or something. The secret to a perfect sunny side up is, I believe, is the temperature of the pan and needless to say, fresh, free range eggs. Bio eggs are even better but I'm a poor person
The pan has to be perfectly hot - neither too much or it'll burn the whites nor too less or the whites will spread too much! I use a non stick pan and add no oil or butter because I'm cutting down on calories. Just kidding, I'm too lazy to use soap to clean the oil or butter from the pan and if you do it just right, let the pan cool off, and wipe it with with a kitchen towel, it's as good as washed!
